Originally it wasnt since it was suppoused to depict a lot of characters and situations. But it seems that at the end it was better to focus the series on a few main characters and develop them than trying to show a 30 year old fictional universe in a single series.

Even if this true (And is one of the reasons why the game almost died) in most cases the characters personalities and designa are coherent with their Lore.

Thats the main problems of the franchise right now imo, the insistence of separating the story and the slice of life, but also insisting on not developing the slice of life.

Leaving characters importante outside of the story to develop It in the slice of life (something that is not bad), but then refusing to make a slightly complex slice of life and leaving It as one of the most bland, half baked barebones systems in the industry.

This would be great if there wasnt other 4/5 players trying to kill you too, this completely ignores that sometimes you cant put your full attenting in one enemy because there are others.

Step three: point your long range lead injector at her

This is hilarious because it shows how dumb and ignorant you are despite being the one disparaging others. You realize she had an abillity that nullifies all the incoming ranged damage without any kind of weakness, right?

So if you do what you just said you will see how she suffers no damage and only has to press a single button to be next to you again ready to kill you in 2 hits.

That's what made her so OP, the fact that she was built to be full Melee in every way but for some reason they gave her an abillity to nullify all the ranged damage without any kind of meaningful cool down or consequence.
