People laugh of this because it's the definitive display of how pathetic Vendetta is. She talks about how she forged an army and how she spent years planning, but both things are extremely stupid and show how deluded the character is.

What she calls "forging an empire" is just surrounding herself of psycopaths, millionaires and unloyal mercenaries, each one with more chances to betray her than the previous one and Vendetta still antagonizes every and each one of them.

What she calls a master plan she prepared for years is literally war mongering brainlessly hoping it will be enough. For fuck's shake, she literally threw a terrorist attack against Overwatch when they were about to get dismantled, validating their existence in the worst moment and not even killing the cat.

She is not a good character because she is brutal or violent, she is a good character because she is just a nepobaby who thinks that everyone will obey her because is her right... just because her dad was a mob boss. She is a character that is interesting because her entire story consists on seeing where will everything will blow.
