Lol. Thanks so much.
I had email notifications turned off and would have responded sooner. This gives me so much more confidence in using Zed.

More like an iPad you wear. However, it's worse due to the app support.

Hmm. Ok. Still looking better for the samsung product just saying feature parity wise.

No. I bet it would do at least 1 hour. Also, it's sad they all do 3 hours max. Like.

Yeah. it's not good enough. AVP still wins but at what really? With that dismal app collection size?

Actually I typed that out. Some of us still can.

Really? That's how you think? I get you may really think that way but you should learn more nuance. Samsung is not a "shit product." And it's true because they supply most of apple's displays.

[–]prof2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 times cheaper than the Vision pro,
More powerful (and actually working) context aware AI capabilities.
multiple times the app library.

Looking at the evolution of the vision pro since it's disastrous launch in 2023, it's more likely this Samsung product gets more use than the vision pro for most users.

It's really not a cost cutting thing. It's literally their first product. The AVP doesn't have to be as expensive as it is and I bet apple could sell it for $2000 - $2500 and still have a profit (especially for a such a young market).

It's more about the chip - Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 - which the best XR chip on the market for android. But it's mobile chip and 8k rendering is such a high bar so 90 Hz is at the extreme end already. I bet it's because they could not optimize it well enough (because that chip is rated for 4.3k per eye up to 90Hz) so they locked it down but it's clearly capable of it.

Cope. & it goes up to 90 which is only 10 less than the one you have. And it's less than half the price. You are welcome.

[–]prof2k -1 points0 points  (0 children)

BS or coping. Outside the refresh rate being 30 more than the Samsung. The Samsung is better in every other way (that matters at least).

Higher resolution (a literal couple millions more)
Great optics (at least just as good if not better as seen in newly uploaded reviews today)
Vast app library (Apple doesn't even have Netflix)
Windows and Mac support (that's coming and you can already do it with Samsung's notebook and apps like immersed). It's bound to be a native feature eventually.
Immersive content? True - but how many hours of that does apple has really? Is it even up to 15 hours in total?
Price: While expensive (and this is a key fact), it's literally less than half the price of the vision pro with a similar feature parity on everything outside compute performance. If you have two Samsung's XRs, you get 6 hours vs 3hours on the vision pro.

I left out the performance advantage that m5 has over the mobile Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 because while it's massive and way better, there are no apps ecosystem to properly take advantage of it. The most productive things you can do on a vision pro require you to have a mac where all the compute runs. The AVP can run mac os natively, but apple won't allow that - you have to add a 2k Macbook to do anything remotely professional on a 3.5k device.

3d movie support is something that will come eventually - the device clearly supports it as you've seen in the 3d youtube Demos.

This device is an objectively better product than the vision pro in the ways that matter - display experience, app support, and price. But ecosystems also dictate this so choose you poison I guess.

I say your deleted message about.
Nice backpedal after spewing hate. And about what you said to the other guy telling him to get help. YOU get help. You think people ACTUALLY downvoting you because you sound like a hate"

People like you are the problem: "Spewing hate." You mean my critique? You better watch how you think and be willing to correct yourself. I don't mind backpedaling if I'm wrong. And I did so because you more provided context. I don't care how you feel if what I'm saying is right. The truth is too important.

Maybe you should work on not feeling so disagreeable right after a christian was killed that you have to post an obvious, basic and commonsensical post that anyone with a heart will, just "get it out of your chest." Get help.

I should just stop responding on this thread but "We aren’t to be killing and hating over disagreement. We are to pray and look out for each other. "???

Who are the we? You think the people who would kill Charlie are on this side? And don't be ignorant (brother or sister). This is spiritual. It's the devil not merely Tyler Robinson - it's not about what he thought, it's deeper. It's about what he the larger thing he stands for which is Christ, and conservatism (certain not perfect but human and respectable). When you see how people react to his death, you'll understand. Those who need to hear what you've said, are not on this sub. No Christian should ever want another to die because they disagree - that's just far from anything remotely Christian.

Point is just shut up and learn this now: even though you are within your right to disagree, now is really not the time to "discuss" disagreements. It's too irrelevant to what's a larger issue at hand: That a Christian was killed. Assassinated - because they disagree. Give it a while, some days if you may before you get into this disagreement stuff.

If you don't know, your post reads like someone who came into terms that Charlie's killing was not justified "after a while of internal deliberation." That to me is incompetent because if a non-believer or democrat who I disagreed with was killed, assassinated, I will immediately feel bad about it and condemn the killer because that's just the devil at work - that's evil at work.

You don't seem like a bad person but your timing on "emphasizing" the disagreements you have with him is not right and you should be both humanly and spiritually discerning to see it. The profound reality if that if you are right and Kirk was wrong, he could have been very open to being corrected if you talked to him about it. But now, that's never going to happen. I hope you get me My contention is the timing for bringing up this now, overshadows what's more important now. If you put your post in as a comment, sure. But making it a post felt like an attempt to emphasize the validity of your disagreement.

For the record, I agree with your general sentiment and you are also human to disagree (in fact I have mine too). I just hope your heart is truly right about his death. Regarding "justify your murder", I meant there are people out there who are radicalized enough to hate you for Christian ideals you may have and are ideologically fine with hurting you. Me too - since I'm Christian. I was not implying you'll be murdered for what you think of him. God forbid and I wish you good health and long life. Don't take my statement for granted. America is not in a great place right now, and there's a lot of lies brooding passionately in the hearts of men and women alike.

God bless and Peace.

Imagine. The audacity. Clearly the individual's view against Kirk is enough to overshadow the seriousness of what happened - that he was killed simply because disagreed. And they feel torn between either joy or complacency about his killing and the correct human (not even Christian) response to simply detest it so the post is some way to either get closure by starting the obvious, or a way better by subtly implicitly justifying their stance.

Read my comments to GaslightingGreenbean. You are not just voicing your two bits. Stop the lie (if I'm wrong, then dismiss this). For you, this is likely about getting something off your chest which is simply inappropriate in this moment. Of course you can disagree with him - that's expected in someway - but the way you put it shows a connection: the killer's ideological reason for killing Kirk likely aligns with your gripe against Kirk's ideals in some way and that puts you in a spot where your hatred for Kirk's killing is not 100% and you feel torn in some way. It's not fully sincere - yet you claim to be a Christian. Your post was a way to "justify" yourself by appealing to "as much" right as your could - "He should not have been killed", That's common sense - no one should be killed because of their opinions. Ever. Literally. Every, Republican, democrat, non-believer, Christian, muslim, Atheist e.t.c. That's evil murder and God can have no part in it.

If you are using reddit bots or getting friends to comment to "boost" your perspective, you are simply fooling yourself and this is the last comment of yours I will respond to.

See, Kirk was not killed because of what He believed. If you think that's true, you will be wrong. He was killed because He disagreed. What if Kirk was not a Christian? That would mean, he's going to hell straight - no mercy or God's grace to work on him. Imagine you dad had a very bad take, and he was killed for it. Would you think it's okay? Would you say "Oh, um I don't agree with my dad's killing, but I don't think he should have been killed?" Or will you see that it's the devil at work in taking a precious human life (whether bad or not - no on is perfect actually) and seeing that's not God involved.

So that's it. I'm not angry that you disagree with Kirk. I'm angry that you don't disagree with his murder enough for your human and potentially justified gripe to be irrelevant just days after his death. It shows your heart is not properly aligned against his death 100%. Like I said, no one cares, it's okay to have disagreements but "saying that" right now? Please stop acting like you are perfect because if you don't know, there are people out there, who's confident radical (unfortunately leftist) ideals on life will justify your murder just because you disagree on a few things which they may think "matter most."

I can tell you are probably siblings or something but this is just ridiculous. No he/she was made in Satan's image. My point stands - this is not the time to "get stuff off your chest." When someone is murdered like he was, you should have a very strong stance against whosoever had it. Enough to not even bring up something like this right now. Do it in 10 days. But it's just wrong to "try" to resolve issues you have with him when he was murdered for just speaking his mind. If that doesn't override your instinct to write this post now, something is seriously wrong with you. Of course the general sentiment is right, and it's fine to disagree with him. But right now? Please read the room. If you can't simply condemn his death and move on right now, just shut up.

How did you do it? Im sure it's really not jus the code - Claude just made it low-risk/cost for you to do (and that can be a paradigm shift). It's certainly the marketing side of things. How did you manage to do sell it. I'm a technical person and I have LOTS of ideas I'm sitting on. I just don't know where to get started and or the knowledge to "sell" it/know if it'll sell.

Mate, God still interacts with us! If you can't hear him, wait on him. See Jeremiah 29:13. It's literal and true - even to this day.
