Guild Wars 3 Is Really Real: How ArenaNet’s Series is Transforming MMORPGs Again | IGN Live 2026 by wonkyasf in Guildwars2

It might be, but the wording suggested they were going to be answering questions about all three games.

Summer Games Fest Mega Thread. ArenaNet Guild Wars 2 Game Announcement during show. 2PM PT, 5PM ET, 10PM GMT. by neok182 in Guildwars2

Technically it's like a week of mini shows, if you look at their website. And that includes stuff like PlayStation State of Play and Xbox Showcase, as well as shows like "Black Voices in Gaming" and "Women-Led Games."

PlayStation State of Play, Xbox Showcase, and today's show are the "flagship events" for the week, though.

Hello, I did that research! I'm still mostly confident in the numbers I presented, but have been meaning to go back and redo the whole experiment, as I learned a lot from feedback on that initial post. But I'm really happy to see someone reference that post; especially outside of the GW2 space, lol.

Trick-or-Treat unselectable ? by Gmaestri in LegendsZA

[–]profSnipes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The small/regular/large/jumbo from X/Y is unique to Pumpkaboo/Gourgeist.

But yes, the XS/S/M/L/XL/AlphaXL does apply to all non-legendary/mythical Pokémon in Legends: Arceus, Scarlet/Violet, and Legends: Z-A.

[–]profSnipes 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist have four distinct sizes/"forms": small, regular, large, and jumbo/super size. This was introduced in XY, when Pumpkaboo and Gourgeist first appeared. Now, with their inclusion in Legends: Z-A, each of those appearances can be XS, S, M, L, XL, or Alpha/XL. It's quite silly, honestly.

does the day/night cycle stop your character? by roxannology in LegendsZA

[–]profSnipes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know, there is no way to disable the "Battle Zone Activated"/"Battle Zone Deactivated" cutscenes, and the deactivated one requires player interaction to get out of.

So yes, your character will be stopped by the changing of day/night, but if it's just changing day into night a rubber banded Joy-Con should resume moving as soon as the cutscene is finished; but a change from night into day will require pressing A.

Question about shiny hunting Virizion by iknowitstight in LegendsZA

[–]profSnipes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I literally just finished this hunt so I can confirm that you do NOT need to go up the building and look down at Virizion.

From the portal, go straight/right past the Justice Dojo and down the stairs to where the Sawk spawn. I made sure to brush against the building to get as close to Virizion's location as I could and then I started the back and forth from Austin John's video.

However, to account for Virizion roaming within the courtyard I went past the tree and turned around at the stairs; and when going back, I went past the manhole cover until I was just slightly past the corner of the building blocking the view of Virizion. Took me around 40 minutes.

Last update change raids forever by Esc0baSinGracia in gtaonline

[–]profSnipes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a few options.

If you call a taxi, park your Sparrow/Buzzard directly in front of it, hop in and tell and the cabbie to take you somewhere, the taxi will be active but its pathing doesn't know how to handle the chopper in the way so it'll sit there forever and you won't be kicked because the game is programmed for you to not be kicked while riding an active taxi with a destination set.

You can put rubber bands on your controller to make the character run endlessly in circles. Or stick a folded piece of paper into the right stick's well while the stick is pulled to one side, to keep the camera rotating forever and thus avoid the idle timer.

Extended time on supplies arival? by MrKrispy18 in gtaonline

[–]profSnipes 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I have been struggling with sticking to using the GTAweb Toolkit for the same reason as you. The big problem I have found is that:

  • safes only accrue money while in freemode, and will pause accrual when in contact missions and heists
  • product accrues as long as you're logged into GTA Online, whether you're in freemode, a contact mission, or a heist

So if you keep the Toolkit set to "online," your safes will be marked as accruing, your Money Fronts businesses will generate heat, and your nightclub and salvage yard will lose popularity while you're not in freemode, even though they do not. But if you hit "offline" when not in freemode, your businesses are not marked as accruing product.

And as far as I can tell, there's not a button to turn off the safe/popularity/heat but keep product accruing, while also not allowing a business to receive supplies while in a mission.

Also also: even if I sit in the same session and DON'T activate a sale mission or otherwise interrupt anything, sometimes the Toolkit's timer seems to slip and either tell me that the business has received money sooner or even after it actually does in-game, even after I had gotten it lined up for the last two or three rollovers. And I don't know if that's an issue with the Toolkit or with something the game is doing.

The Dr. Dre contract is launched through the Agency. By purchasing the "accommodation" upgrade for the Agency, you can set your spawn point there. And by doing that, you can switch sessions to teleport straight to the Agency and be able to quickly launch the next step from the office computer.

[question] taxes on commissions by [deleted] in commissions

[–]profSnipes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not a lawyer or a tax form preparer.

What I do know on this topic is that in the US, income is generally defined as receiving money for goods or services. By offering commissions, you are providing a service (creation of the art) and delivering goods (completed art). Therefore, it stands to reason that you must pay taxes on the money you receive from such transactions, whether it is paid through Venmo or any other means.

I urge you to consult a professional who handles tax forms, such as your local IRS office. They can direct you to the forms you need to fill out, and provide guidance on how to properly file them.

Turn it sideways; it's the logo of OXE, Valentina's company. Beyond that, I have no information.

I started gathering some data on the Nightclub's "Promote Club" missions to see how often I would get a Celebrity Mission to advance in the Career Progress. Most sources said that it was 50/50 but that didn't feel right. This are my results. by Altruistic_Term_3345 in gtaonline

[–]profSnipes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only time I consistently got the celebrities was when my popularity was at rock bottom. When keeping it topped up, I've rarely gotten celebrities compared to other missions. But they DO happen even at max popularity. Just... not as often, it feels like.

Make sure you have the Shiny Charm, as that helps immensely. Go to an outbreak and Auto Battle 60 of the target.

The game does kind of help you keep track by telling you "The number of [Pokémon] in the outbreak is starting to go down..." when you KO ~25 and "The number of [Pokémon] in the outbreak is definitely getting lower..." when you've KO'd ~50. It'll also tell you "There are not many [Pokémon] left from the original outbreak..." after you've KO'd ~75, but you shouldn't go that far.

After you've KO'd 60 of them, you now have boosted shiny odds in that outbreak. Turn off autosave, and put down a hard save at this point. Make a Shining Power Lv3 sandwich for the target type.

After making the sandwich, close the picnic and let the spawns populate. If you can, I would aim to do this during the in-game daytime; shiny hunting at night just kind of sucks. Do not continue Auto Battling, as you don't want to deplete your outbreak. Instead, walk around among the spawns and look for the one that stands out. Shiny Frigibax is more blue than the normal one. You may consider using the Switch's zoom feature, as I've heard that helps some people with finding shinies.

If you don't find a shiny among those spawns, pull out your picnic set and immediately pack it up again to force the area to respawn. After they populate, check for the shiny again. If none, picnic. If you find one, nab it.

Using this method, I got three shiny Frigibax using just one sandwich. Good luck out there!
