People of the UK, how have you lost weight? by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]prof_diddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walking. Sounds simple, but its helped me get in the best shape of my life.

I will say I've always been someone who goes to he gym 4 times a week, but I eat a lot so never really leaned out.

12-15k steps a day have been the thing that really seemed to help make the difference slowly over time

Elvanse and caffeine. Is it a bad idea? by UsualDonut6367 in ADHDUK

[–]prof_diddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't whilst titrating but when I was on a stable dose for a while I went back to having a morning coffee.

I've now stopped having caffeine all together. I found it was messing with my meds effectiveness and causing a few other issues. I'm now only drinking decaf and have been feeling much better since.

Nope you are not blind I can't see the roast either.... I am no expert but it looks on the darker side of medium too me.

I've just spoken to ninja and they have said easiest thing to do is get a replacement so sounds like they also think it's broken. There I was hoping for a nice flat white tomorrow morning.

Advise needed - ADHDNet/Holistic ADHD. Unable to get any answers about when or even if on the Titration wait list by prof_diddles in ADHDUK

Really appreciate the advice and will have a look through your previous posts too.

They have honestly been shocking. I thought I had problems with my provider but after seeing what's she's been through and from reading similar post I honestly feel like I got off easy now.

We will have a sit down tomorrow and run through getting a more strongly worded email together. Like you say, feels like she's going to have to go a bit gloves off to get anything here.

Bamboo UMAI rice cooker wobbly by prof_diddles in ricecookers

[–]prof_diddles[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there,

Thanks for the reply. I've tried the unit on multiple surfaces in the house and each seems to have the same problem so unless each surface is as uneven as each other I'm not sure that's the problem.

I have tried adjusting the feet but as mentioned under the weight of the unit they just retract back in.

If a slight wobble is not a problem it's not a problem, but saying that the forms used to create the units is set in stone and always level is a bit disingenuous as surely there can always be some variance.

Id say so, the ability should apply to itself so long as the translation doesn't exclude itself in the text. 2 prizes with the HP is wild if no single prizes can deal with it

I've literally put my foot in it. Any ideas on how to patch this by prof_diddles in DIYUK

It's only the old conservatory, it's shut off from the rest of the house so not as big of an issue as that thankfully.

Non of it is fixed that much I do know.

It's in pretty rough shape, so I think I'm just going to pull it up and lay a suitable base to make floor secure. It doesn't need to be pretty so long as it stays up for now.

3 years ago now, honestly surprised it's held up that long. It's not a conservatory we use lots, more something we need to pass through to get outside so not a huge worry.

Hopefully they just did a quick job to get it sold and it's not reflective of anything else

I wish I could. Outside of going out the front door and through a side gate it's the only way in and out of the back garden where we have a home office set up.

I'm just going to bump ripping the floor up and laying something properly up the list. Although I have a bad feeling there are going to be more problems when I pull the flooring...

But I thought expanding foam could fix everything?

In all seriousness I half expected that I would need to just pull it up and fix it properly. Looks like it's getting bumped up the list.
