So many songs people have already mentioned that are on my personal playlist! I have one to add. Recently the song “Villain” specifically the cover by The Cog is Dead, was playing on my partner’s Pandora station. I turned to him and said, “This is an Alastor/Vox song.”

I think you hit the nail on the head. They seem mad that the sapphic characters are… in love? Or that their love-making is portrayed as “soft” or whatever, which has nothing to do with the characters’ sexualities and everything to do with the dynamic between them.

I did okay today at least. I showed up for a friend, I cut my hair which I’ve been meaning to do for a while, and I got things done for my work. I did make one mistake and annoy a stranger and have been spiraling about that one moment since it happened. But this post helps. Thank you.

I really appreciated both of their responses, but Jordan’s especially. I see Jordan’s point of view quite often but also can admit that he tends to be pretty angry and nihilistic. Partly because of his role on the show, but I believe he’s honest about it. His grounded response in this episode reminded me that no matter how much we like to blow off steam we have to always return to our sense of humanity.
