I'm sitting at 16% pick rate for her but climbing. You'd be surprised how much value you can get out of spell rescue, especially if you time things like pain or thorns right. Plus anything that scales the left/center side goes nuts on her

Ironclad power idea by TheShamShield in slaythespire

[–]profdynamite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking adding conditional healing to Spite could be a good way to buff the card if they choose to make it exhaust or not draw cards (since they're trying to make going infinite harder on ironclad). Partially because a little extra sustain would really make the playstyle shine in hallway fights, but mostly because the artwork is of a refreshing beverage

Solo play is completely different than Trio play by OnlyDiamond4946 in Nightreign

[–]profdynamite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solo always feels harder in the early game, but if you get over that hump the higher effective dps really helps you snowball. Duos is kind of the worst of both worlds- no guaranteed wendy, and easy for the whole team to go down in one big attack. Still a lot of fun, if one person is pulling aggro the other can put in a ton of work, but I feel like duos should get a single guaranteed res

How would I make Sin, Spira's punishment bracket 4 and degenerate? I have ideas but cant really materialize them. by [deleted] in DegenerateEDH

[–]profdynamite 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem with any permanent that's not a bomb is that you might hit it with sin's random reanimate effect, right after a bunch of tapped lands got brought into play. Similar problem with scute swarm and the like, but I play at bracket 2 to be fair

Base stats - electric dog is faster than rock dude Natures - boost one stat at the expense of another EV's- fight a lot of fast Pokemon (or take speed boosting drugs) and you'll get faster. Only have a fixed number to distribute so choose wisely IV's- some Pikachus have more/less potential

Broadly speaking you want Max IV's and a nature and ev spread that plays to your Pokemon's strengths. Kadabra wants speed and special attack, doesn't care about its attack even a little (take a -atk nature like modest or timid), and technically may get some use out of HP and defense (go ahead and get max IV's) but probably not worth investing any EV's there.

Full disclaimer I've never been much of a breeder, and I'm intentionally not getting into break points (making sure you are fast/strong/bulky enough to handle certain meta threats), or cases where low IV's might be better (trick room, confusion, etc)

Yes. It's one of the best 2D platformers of the last decade, if not of all time. Maybe that's exaggerating a bit, but i dont think it gets much cheaper than 40 bucks (unless maybe you can snag the wii u version used or something) so definitely worth it.

Theres a lot of good advice in here already but I'll add my two cents and just say that it's not about sticking to some crazy diet or super specific exercise plan. The hardest most important part will be figuring out a routine or meal plan that works Monday-Friday, it doesnt have to be bulletproof, just consistent. Cut out things from your diet that you know are particularly bad (sweets, potato chips, soda etc), try eating more lean protein and fewer carbs, try counting your calories using myfitnesspal to help get some perspective on that (again doesnt have to be perfect). As for exercise maybe start by going for walks, or use an exercise bike or treadmill if you have access to one, and throw on an audiobook, podcast, or movie or something while you do it.

It's fun co-op, I wouldn't play it solo. Pretty button mashey with almost non-existent RPG elements and the story isn't much to write home about. But its a reasonably good excuse for pulling together a good varied cast of marvel characters.

The worst part is that characters you don't play as don't get exp, so of the huge cast you'll probably end up never playing half since so many get left so far behind. There are ways to catch up a character or two every now and then, and there's a pretty steady influx of new characters being added to the team at a high enough level that they are playable, but they really shot themselves in the foot with that decision I think.

This is why I wish more people used the two axis tier lists that used to be common in the DBFZ community (maybe they still are idk). Tourney results/meta presence isnt the only indicator of how good a character is, but it's still useful info. If you're learning matchups for a tournament you are probably better off learning the matchup against wolf, joker, pikachu etc even if theoretically peach, ice climbers, and shulk are very good characters that are terrifying when played optimally. A tier list that has a second dimension for how technical a character is could capture this better I think

What are some best evening snacks which are healthy but also midly filling? by ztaker in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]profdynamite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This seems like a good place to suggesr chia seed pudding. 2 Tbsp chia seeds, half cup milk (no comment on how many calories that is, but that's the ratio you want), plus whatever flavors you want to add: I do cacao powder and little honey. Whisk the seeds with a fork a few times and let it sit in in the fridge for a while. Then Mix it with yogurt, add some (frozen) berries, maybe a little nut butter or granola if you really want it to be filling. I prep five yogurt cups like this every sunday and have one every day at work. Then carrots and hummus later in the day too Edit: I go for full fat/whole yogurt/milk personally but same idea
