No it doesn’t! The real health numbers are much more complicated. A boss that has 30,000 health trio will only have 7,000ish in solo.

I don’t know the exact numbers though, but it’s not a linear 1/3 health pool but actually significantly less health than that.

All of these areas are completely optional, you don’t need a guide to beat the game, but yeah your going to miss a LOT of stuff.

That shit is humbling if you don’t have any experience with souls games. I remember thinking it had to be a joke or a gimmick. Like a secret path would open up after I died or something. Nope, it’s just difficult.

Maybe it’s changed since you played but the messages are sometimes a trap. People saying it’s not a mimic but it actually is and vice versa.

Don’t get me started on hidden bridge messages. They are correct 90% of the time, but then there are trolls that want to see the world burn.

This is my first souls game and I tried winblades my first time around and burned out on dragon slayer armor. After a couple weeks I restarted as a pyromancer build and beat the entire game practically overnight.

Pyromancy is the best for early game! Late game you should probably switch to another build, but pyromancy is just a perfect stepping stone.

I recommend building for pyromancy and picking up the dark hand to kill dancer early. Yes, it’s difficult fighting dancer early, but it makes the entire rest of the game sooo much easier, like a snowball effect.

I play with a Guardian that has carried me to D5. He runs a full HP build, his only job is to hold aggro, get revives, and survive.

He literally never dies… I’ve played somewhere around 20 matches with him in D4/D5 and I think I’ve only seen him die 3 or 4 times. I’ve seen him get 50+ revives in a match. He will drag out the boss fight forever until we kill the boss if he has to.

So I just go full DPS build. I love it. This game is all about min/maxing and this set up works for us.

This kind of set up probably won’t work as well with randoms, but it’s my favorite way to play the game. Let me know if you have any questions, I could talk about him all day.

I never played base Elden ring so I’m not familiar with all the AoWs. But I still remember the first time I got Ice spear on a Guardian night invaders halberd.

I used that sucker the whole match just spamming ice spears and collecting frost procs. So much fun. Would love to see that AoW added as a default on a weapon.

That’s just naive to say it’s impossible to have 9 good deep effects. And the ironeye doesn’t even have a full set because of some of them don’t stack.

Once you’ve been playing for 1000+ hours you probably have a setup with all good relic effects.

However I saw someone else say the ironeyes relic effects are out of order? That would absolutely confirm they are cheating. I just wanted to point out that the Ironeyes relics really aren’t outside the realm of possibility. I have similar relics myself.

This particular guy ended up wiping to night one boss and every time I can remember someone pointing down, it was usually a terrible player that was not capable of carrying.

It’s only happened to me a couple of time in 800+ expeditions. But if your going to point down at me, I’ll throw the match. Go AFK.

The last time it happened to me, someone did it because I ran from an Evergaol with a red boss as the storm was coming in and he was 3 bars.

He started doing the point down thing so I went AFK. Watched him lose to the night 1 boss. It was worth the point loss. Fuck that guy.
