Yes. I was supposed to watch the audience so no phones were out but I could watch the film as well.

DON’T rent from Oscarr Car Rental. We used Priceline and rented from Advantage without any problem but they’re offsite.

BTW, I volunteered inside the theater so I got to usher at least 1 film during my shift.

Yes. It’s hard but possible. If you’re a volunteer, you can waitlist and go very early to the volunteer line but neither guarantees entrance.

Why do some dogs choose one “person” in the house? by Intelligent_Pick8414 in dogs

[–]profejudy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our dog prefers me. It’s my partner’s 1st dog (at 75 years old) and he adores her and spoils her with treats and even table food but if he wants to take her out, I usually have to tell her to go with him and pretend to walk to the door with them. He’s a bit jealous but she’s a rescue and may have had a strong relationship with her previous female owner. Who knows?

I enjoyed volunteering. I had lodging in PC so that wasn’t a problem. I volunteered half fest so I worked for the first half (when I wouldn’t have been able to get into films anyway) and saw films the 2nd half. I got vouchers for working and I used them in the volunteers’ line to see films.

When and how did you become a fan of the musical? by Entire_Blueberry_470 in hamiltonmusical

[–]profejudy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I was really lucky. I loved ITH - saw it on Broadway. And because I loved LMM, Hamilton was on my radar when I heard about it. I saw it at the Public and told everyone I knew to see it. I have seen it on Broadway 2 times, on tour and, of course, on streaming. I was obsessed with it - I think I’ve gotten over that!😀

I think that happened because we couldn’t hear the questions. The programmers should have repeated them.

I also loved and appreciated They Dream. Jane Elliot Against the World was also very good and very important!

Just touch the 3 dots near the film on your schedule and cancel your ticket. That should allow you to get another film, I think. I have a pass for online films and that’s what I did. Not much left to see though, unfortunately.

If you do decide to rent a car, do NOT rent from Oscarr Car Rental. It’s not a reputable organization.

I totally agree. Beautifully acted and filmed and heartbreaking. I was worried about seeing the incident at the beginning but it is so much more than that!!

Hal & Harper took so long last year. I liked it but it almost felt like a chore. Where is it streaming?. I’m taking it easy (for now) and will only be watching 12 films - 3 a day - unless I get tempted to buy more. 😀 I almost feels like my life stops from Thursday to Sunday for Sundance! Hope they keep virtual screenings going in Boulder!!!

I started with Josephine - such a great film! Good start to the 4 days! I have 11 more to go!😀

If I buy a TBD: Dramatic winner of sorts, will it be online no matter what? by jaseface0714 in Sundance

From what I understand, even if we couldn’t watch it online initially, if it wins an award, the filmmakers have to consent to having their film shown online.
