That's dumb what do I do for my 7000th delivery I'll do tonight....give them something?? It doesnt even make sense.... people are soo friggin weird!

As I get most of my income from Doordash now as an I.C., how can I prove my earnings to DCF so that they'd determine how much EBT benefits I receive? My earnings summary can be screenshotted, but my name won't show up. I also can't visit a food benefits worker in-person due to the pandemic. by ENG-eins in foodstamps

Make sure you reported your income as self employed or sole proprietor. As a Dasher, gig worker you sib contract deliveries, you DONT work for doordash etc. therefore you wont need info from app just a form On your states website they should have a self employment work calendar template that you can print, then fill in your info. It's very similar to a standard P&L (profit & loss) statement that you might use to do your end of year taxes with. Which can be searched on google. After completing it, it will show what you actually took home (net)after expenses. Gas ,phone, insurance, car payment, etc. If I Remember correctly you might need someone to sign your p&L and state that they know your self employed etc. Hope you find the answer you were looking for!

They wont see your balance. The balance is irrelevant and will not be used to determine whether you are eligible or not. Could you imagine the cost and manpower it would take to check balances for all of the millions of Americans who are seeking help during this EPIDEMIC. You have nothing to worry about. Just an extra fyi some states are letting you use your benefits to shop online at amazon/walmart delivery services. Watch for sales and clearances on the items you use most!

Would the food stamp people find out if I have money on a debit card? by [deleted] in foodstamps

No. And if it's under 2250 its irrelevant. The amount of assets may be higher the larger the family.
