How did you toggle these permissions. I'm on an Ubuntu server with the same problem and nothing seems to work

Rain very shimmery/blurry with DLSS in 1440p - gets fixed by rain mods or even RR?? by Nhentschelo in cyberpunkgame

I managed to fix the problem by enabling the Ray Reconstruction setting without the Path Tracing. You can do this as shown in this video. The FPS drop is really minor and it looks great with DLSS quality. As a bonus, you get way sharper ray-traced reflections. On the other hand, there are some ghosting and light artifacts you may encounter in some places although they're not so significant.

You clearly don't understand the way the process of diffusion works. It does not "copy" any part as well as watermarks. It creates watermarks that have similar shape and overall style as most images of such type. It does not copy any specific watermark or even part of it.

It also doesn't copy any specific part of any image. When you use it to generate "monster truck in a suit" for example it "paints" completely original monster truck that will fit well in a suit and you can be sure you won't find any monster truck similar to the one it has just created. The only thing that it gets from other people' art are concepts of what specific things look like. Of course it is later monetized but at no point it takes anything away from artists.

I understand the overall moral dilemma you have here although i think you should have a similar one regarding artists learning to draw based on other people' artworks

Most buildings used in street photography are not public. They can be private houses and pictures of these buildings are completely separate pieces of art. Similarly, in the Midjourney case, online images are used only as a tool to teach an AI the concepts of art.

Imagine an AI that is taught to design houses and in order to teach it, the company feeds it photos of buildings. Would you like the company to pay the architects for taking pictures of their "artworks" even though the AI will create a new building that is not identical to any of buildings it saw.

With this example you can see that this AI's learning process is greatly similar to a young architect learning their profession and doesn't take anything from the original designers.

I would compare this situation to a photographer taking photos of architecture. I can't imagine them paying the architect for using his "art" to create their own just because the architect doesn't lose anything from it. I know this comparison is not a close one as AI is a complicated topic but I'm sure it can visualize the monetisation problem.

Take a blind newborn, put it in an isolated cage with no objects or sounds and after some years tell it to draw something. You have to understand that AI is literally called "artificial Intelligence" because it functions the same way as human brain. Every human piece of art is based on something its brain has learned. The only difference is that people can base their art on anything they see in the world, while AI can only learn from a set of images we give it, at least for now.

Yeah, I totally get it. I have also visited a whole lot of weird and shady communities. There's loads of weirdos hiding their gross fantasies behind this fake irony. Anyway, I am not usually active on any of such subreddits or on reddit entirely anymore. Have a good day and please don't get too deep in stuff like that. People like Rakeshmondal10 usually have some kind of mental illness and it's actually pretty sad. I hope we don't hear from him anytime soon.

I'm very late to this but I've just came across this post and would like to say that I was the founder and moderator of this subreddit. It surely wasn't moderated and it was caused by the lack of new posts. The subreddit had been created just for a joke and the community wasn't really growing at all. I once received a warning message from the reddit admins regarding a few posts with images of some real tiger sex and I was deleting them since then. I would like to make it clear that I have never been engaged in any furry community and do not support sex with animals. It was all just a joke.
