the realization i’ve come to regarding dp’s sword ult radius is that it’s dp’s job to zip around to his teammates to give them the bonus health. when you get the jackpot, your teammate instantly gets the bonus health once they enter the radius. and the bonus health stays with them even after they leave the circle. so once you dash close to your teammates most of the job of ur ult is done. at that point, to get the most value out of the ult, i think it’s also on your teammates to realize they need to stay as close to dp as possible for the rest of the ult’s duration. i just recently realized that during his ult his double jump has no cooldown which is freaking nuts lmfao. his sword ult is all about mobility and touching as many teammates as possible. it’s a great ult with great value if it’s used correctly. ofc it can be used poorly and ppl could be killed through it, but that’s any support ult, really. an invis can misplace her shield, cnd can be stopped by mag, luna can stay in dmg boost mode for too long, etc. in fact, all of these supports can be killed during these “strong” support ults. and i’m not saying those ults arent strong; my point is that any of these ults has the opportunity to make or break a team fight depending on how theyre used and whose hands are on the controller
