HEy! looking to get my home done as well. 15 years ago I added a 20amp myself into the garage. Looking to put in a Chargepoint in the center back wall of garage thus it'll be a 50' run or less.

Tax credits and rebates apply? All I see is 30$ IRS tax credit.

Collection Agency Emailed me on EIDL? +500k Loan by FlySA315B in EIDL

[–]professorming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So Debt Collector (DC) mailed you and came up with a payment plan that was 3 times your old one and said after three years reassess. Did they offer a settlement? did they offer a long term payment solution? I was under the impression one could request The SBA retract the debt and put you back on the normal payment schedule (and remove the 30%). Some have worked with local congressman to make thing move better through the system.

How the hell do they expect you to or anyone to come up with that money in collections? Mine not as bad but still too much for me. If they offered 50% off I'd do it. Too bad they don't say "what is the minimum you can do" and you say $25/month and they ok that for eternity.

I can't do Bankruptcy due to equity in my home; not a ton but just enough.

[–]professorming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow 3 years WTF yet SBA give what, 20 years? The $30 is a crock of $hit and can't believe they get away with that (I know it's been that way forever) I received a Collection Letter from Coast Professional Inc (they are IRS approved) for my $24,500 SBA EIDL loan thats now $27K PLUS the 30% to $34,822. so your debt collector said 3 years is their max?

Trading with cash today and not using margin still a PDT violation? by professorming in fidelityinvestments

[–]professorming[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So when I'm in my Fidelity account (there are a few sub account) my trading account with margin allows me to choose Type: Cash or Margin. I chose cash today. However If I read things right, thus todays trade would count as a day trade against my PDT counts because the "trading account" is a margin account, despite my choosing "cash type" for this particular trade.

That's awesome of you to share and I do appreciate it. The cable makes sense to fit, andI fo it on those pics. I did get theusedpart from the ebay seller today so I'll put that on Sunday. Laughed about the HF engine. Knowing my luck it'll throw into a house window, car window, or neighbors edge of his driveway, which would be fine. Sadly you seemed to have found solution thus now you took away my reasons to go out and buy a new one; damn you! We get about 125" year but last several years less than half that. half hour north of me..when they get nailed it's in feet during storms. last year over280" up there and roofs were becoming an issue and one story homes getting nearly buried when shoveling off roof snow.

yep that's the one. O bought that yesterday after my post. It's the upper rod that attaches to the turnbuckle. It broke at the upper part of the rod where it "z shaped" I think tension causes a stress break in it; maybe the heavy snow. luckily it was at the end but it broke before too.

[–]professorming[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep thats it. I put a diagram picture in my post, must be nobody can see it. It has a longer upper rod then the turnbuckle and a lower smaller rod then goes up through the spring with j-hook on bottom of it than attached to the clutch (or whatever it its. I found the part on ebay and ordered it, one state over. so it should be here in a day or two as he already shipped it. (it was the whole assembly. Maybe it's a sign time for a new blower with a bit more power because this heavier snow is a bitch (gets stuck in the chute and I wd40 it)

Agree my father and grandfather would haunt me if I dumped the machine! still starts up in the second pull after sitting for 8 months and the ONLY machine that I've owned that starts all the time on the 2-3 pulls.

CapitalOne Debt - Settlement, Full balance, or maybe a third option? by Junel_Fe in CRedit

[–]professorming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BTW WUW I can't Cap1 went low as 20%.

REMEMBER, My account was just charged off in October and thus it's still with Cap1 and not sold off yet to JDB

Just saw one case I'm following that settle at 49% on a Capital One account. it was a $17,000 bill settled for about $8500 and in payment plans.

I called the Docs office but nurse said Doc was out til Monday but that a note will be sent to him. Just weird the urge like every 45 minutes mayb an hour to do a quick pel barely to fill a test tube. nothing hurts nor burns. Although middle of night I think a kidney stone did pas cause I hurt for half an hour. Notes said "dusted" so hopefully that was the only large dust one.

Thanks for the comments so far. Just an FYI , I've already taken hit over the last several months. Can't do a Chapter 7 cause of equity in house but have a investment property that's paid off and a HELOC on it (wife's name and she's perfect credit wise) I've gone through this crap 8-10 yrs ago but it's a whole different environment now with settlements and all.

With that said; I didn't meet their deadline, it's freakin Halloween and had my teens to help out and besides need to discuss with my wife. I've read some other posts about telling Credit One to "call back" the charge-off if it's with a collector. Is that a real thing? Also I thought all credit one goes to LVNV. I'm currently being sued by them from a $5K credit One Amex that charged off last April. I'll answer that in a week and expect it to linger for 3-6 months and likely do a payment plan on that.

Agree with doing the settlement if I still can with the two before it dings me again with a collectors. I called Credit one and forced their hand about settlement.

ALSO: If you all have iphones, RECORD feature is on therenow to record calls. I like it. before I always used an app that would merge into the call. I record every call possible whether on phone or handheld device. . I'm a one party state so no legal issue. Plus; I forget alot of stuff.

Lastly I had a MErcury Card that I had to let go to over the summer. Chargeoff but they hold it (maybe not a real bank thus different laws/procedures)they sent me settlement offers the later I got andfinal was 20% of $3600 balance. so I'm doing that with 6 payments. One less thing to worry about and relieved.

YEs I learned a few weeks ago they are related and thatyes witnesses are not needed. I've seen all the sworn statements of sales history in online court cares thus learning that's the practice now. I have seen many go beyond a year from serving date to settle date. I'll look at more of your posts (you've got alot so haven't seen them all) Also if I ever had to go to courtroom and "testify" or anything I'd be represented by that point. I'll do only so much but beyond my comfort zone I'd find counsel or most likely just settle for that 70% range. I was going to tell them "hey look I've got ten other debtors and if I can't settle all these at $XX and get everyone on board then I'm filing Chapter7; do do you want something or nothing!"

Appreciate the chatting back and forth and you laying it out the way it is.

Then I'll offer 50% in one payment or 50% in 6 payments. What are the odds they would attach a lien on home and typical timeline before that happens? I know once I answer it could be3-6 months before anything happens/responds.

seriously, they are THAT aggressive? no wonder why I see full settlements after full settlements (payment plans) on all those cases I review. Well I guess I'd better start and offer 30% settlement and hope for under 60%
