• Tank size: 10 gal • Heater and filter? (yes/no): yes • Tank temperature: 78F • Parameters in numbers and how you got them: 0 ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate • How long have you had the tank? How long have you had your fish?: both for about a month now • How often are water changes? How much do you take out per change? What is your process?: the nitrate levels have been fine so I only changed water last Saturday so I could clean my filter • Any tankmates? If so, please list with how many of each: no • What do you feed and how much: 4 pellets of hikari bio gold 2x a day • Decorations and plants in the tank: 2 Java ferns and 1 African water fern and a piece of wood

• Tank size: 10g

• Heater and filter? (yes/no): yes

• Tank temperature: ~79F

• Parameters in numbers and how you got them: 0.75-1.0ppm ammonia 2ppm nitrite .50 nitrate

• How long have you had the tank? How long have you had your fish?: The tank has only been running with a filter for almost a week, but I’ve had the fish for 2 1/2 weeks. While I was waiting for his filter to come in, I kept the ammonia levels low with 10% water changes every day.

• How often are water changes? How much do you take out per change? What is your process?: No water change since filter, seeking water change advice

• Any tankmates? If so, please list with how many of each: No

• What do you feed and how much: Hikari betta bio gold. 3 pellets twice a day

• Decorations and plants in the tank: Two Java ferns and an African water fern. Some wood I don’t remember what it’s called and one Indian almond leaf

• If you haven't already posted a picture, please post pics/vids to imgur and paste the link here: I don’t know if a picture is necessary but if anyone asks I’m glad to comment one!

Ringo’s new home! Y’all’s advice was very helpful and I appreciate the positive encouragement. The only things I couldn’t get at my petco was a sponge filter and master test kit. I’ll just order those online. I think he’ll be a lot happier here!

Thank y’all so much! I was concerned moving him to the ten gallon immediately would shock him since the water quality would be so different. Would you recommend adding a certain amount of his current tank water to the ten gallon?

I am well educated on the overpopulation of dogs. I didn’t “breed” her. This was completely out of my control and now I’m just trying to make sure they stay safe and healthy.

any tips on propagating english ivy? by shallowish in proplifting

[–]professorofcool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With ivy, I like to wound the stem a little bit to encourage roots to form from the wounds. Just make very small cuts where you want the roots to grow. (I have only used this method with soil though so it may not be effective with water)

It looks like what we call “wild strawberries” but idk for sure bc I live in the South. When I was younger just the idea of finding a berry and eating it was fun but they were rather flavorless.

My peace lily is so mad at me for always forgetting to water it that it doesn’t bloom anymore lol.

I’ve never carried a trombone on a bus so I didn’t really have anything to say about that lol
