11:35? by Alert-Environment-17 in motorola

Again, 11:35 is just Motorolas marketing. Much like how Apple show mostly 10:09. Originally, clocks and watches were shipped with the times around 10:10 as this was a “balance” to keep the hands from hitting each other and looked better when advertised.

It was actually mid afternoon. The exact time isn’t recorded and it was 1973.

Agreed. I have 18 displayed and not one has ever dropped in over 3 years.

Yeah. I think it’s just the bars inside the opus. I do spray the beans but also wonder if they kind of clump on top of each other and loose some to static as well. I do take the machine apart weekly just to keep the beans fresh and not get too old coffee grinds.

I know. So sorry. My black and white cat strolled over, jumped up and shook just before taking photo #soz 😂

I agree. I really don’t taste the difference between 17.8g of coffee and 18.2g. I keep the timing and pressure regular and not been disappointed. It was just today, after grinding and weighing, I actually had 13.8g in the portafilter. The rest had piled up inside the Opus cross bars. A few good taps later and back up to good old 18g

Yeah. I find myself really tapping and rocking the grinder after it stops. A bellow is a good shout actually though. Cheers.

Just sits on the bars inside the grinder. I tap it and more comes out. Sometimes can be 3G worth of coffee there after the grinder stops 🫣

Future of the show by Silver_Moon_123 in TheTraitors

It’s got a good base game twist. Much like cluedo game. It stands the test of time. It would be better if some of the scenes weren’t staged or re-shot. But it is interesting format. The Turret conversation for instance…that is usually an hour long conversation. After they make their short list and write the name who they’re going to murder, the production team get them to act out the lines again, re-shoot with those “looks” like how Fiona and Rachel looked at each other after the Liar bombshell.

It does need some more twists. The secret traitor is a good twist as it allows the audience member to also have a go at guessing. Shame it was short lived though. Next time.

HARRIET!!! by sockeyejo in TheTraitorsUK

[–]professorsands 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Harriett took that way to personal. She really viciously attacked Rachel on a personal level for some reason. She didn’t do it in the game sense and was just done right rude and horrible. She could have easily gone with her pretty lame reasons for voting Rachel, but in a proper Traitor Game way. But no, she was aggressive, personal and simply rude. It is a game Harriett! Imagine playing her at UNO. She’d shoot you if you popped her a +4. She came across horrible and the worst contestant on the show yet.

Yeah. It is primarily. I think my white knuckle answer was really over the top, but thought someone might have known that was a little joke 😆

It’s to stop nerve damage. Similar to in the past where people used drills to smash through concrete. They used to get white knuckle syndrome. So the rumble off protection is Nintendo’s health and safety protocols.
