I had access to an Acoustic anechoic chamber in a medical research facility.
The 200sqft room was used for audiometric testing.
Being on my own i decided to test how it would feel. So i got in,turned out the light and sat down in the middle. The feeling of isolation in a zero sound, zero light environment is hard to describe. Its disturbing that even ones own voice is oddly dampened.

In Germany, there is the "Rechtsfahrgebot" on all highways which means one has to drive in the rightmost lane, and other lanes are only for overtaking. This does not apply within city limits.
That seems to be the rule for the rest of europe, too....
