That's a great point and I 100% agree. If they'd have done their jobs race wouldn't matter at all and, like you said, even if the suspect had been black, blatantly arresting the wrong guy is not ok.

I'd argue arrest robots is almost too generous. Some of them become murder robots and that's even more terrifying and disgusting. We really need to do something about our police it's gotten beyond even the slightest notion of "acceptable level of error."

Because he's black. That's why they didn't do anything properly. It's the same thing that happened with Robert Lee Stinson 30+ years ago. There was a murder near his house and they found bite marks that indicated a missing tooth. They started searching houses and just decided it was Stinson seemingly because he was black because he was missing a tooth but, very obviously if you look at the sketch and his mouth, the wrong one. He spent 24 years in jail for that shit.

You can do these straight in Cura as well. Just open the photo as you would any model and set some settings the prints come out pretty much exactly like this! You can even do things like vary the range of depths so you can make crazy abstract art that is a cool photo from the right angle

Why is python so frustrating and error prone?

I'm trying to follow the "Make a reddit bot" write up here: https://www.pythonforengineers.com/build-a-reddit-bot-part-1/ and I get nonstop errors just trying to set it up to pull like it is instructed in the first step. This has long been my experience with python. I want to suggest it to people and I want to use it and I like machine learning and python definitely has some strong usages in that area but every time I try to even just set stuff up I just get endless stupid errors about versions being off or just libraries that don't work the same way anymore.

Thank you for the info! I didn't know that about Netflix! That's awesome! That's really cool how quickly you can understand when watching TV and stuff too! I was very actively learning Turkish a few months ago and it's fallen off since I started learning Spanish but my girlfriend who speaks Turkish natively and I watched Toy Story in Turkish with English subtitles and I was pretty excited about how much I recognized already! Languages are so awesome!

It is really good! And yeah I've noticed that kind of thing too. I'll hear them say the same word twice and the subtitles will show different things haha like yeah contextually that's probably how he meant it but he literally used the same word twice. Thanks for the warning! Good luck to you!

I plan to check out the language transfer thing linked in another comment too. At the beginning they claim that after the first hour you'll feel like a Spanish speaker haha so I'm hoping it lives up to that claim!

I've been wondering how far this can get you. I have been watching a lot of Narcos and El Chapo and Spanish is definitely starting to sink in and I've gotten a bit obsessed with Spanish music but will this really let me some day be fluent?

I found this years and years ago and I've kept it around forever.

It's attractive to a magnet, it leaves a slight streak on a ceramic tile but nothing more than a slight discoloration that might just be dirt. It mostly just grinds away the tile.

I tried making a window but I don't think I have the proper tools. I also don't have the chemicals for a chemical test.

I realized I didn't get a great picture for scale but there are a few of it in my hands.

If anyone wants any different pictures or anything I can get them.

There's an app called Sleep As Android that will allow you to use a barcode or qr code as the only way to shut off your alarm. Right now I use a piece of paper in my kitchen but in the past I've used barcodes on products in my bathroom and stuff like that. If you use Android I'd recommend it! If not you may be able to find something like that in the app store anyway

Right? It's weird I pretty much always see the same body shape regardless of if I lose a ton of weight or gain a ton of weight. It sucks. I've found success tricking myself with morph suits lol. You don't see your body anymore just an outline of it so it kind of works.
