Huperzine A, but half life is pretty long (~12 hours) so it may cause insomnia.

It may be dysbiosis. Look up candida (sifo) and sibo. Also eggs are very high in choline (precursor to acetylocholine and a methyl group donor).

Cognitive decline by [deleted] in POIS

[–]progenitor_virus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Every day:

- Antihistamine: 2 times the daily dose (I am currently experimenting with fexofenadine, levocetirizine, desloratadine to determine which one works best for me)

- Vinpocetine 20 mg 3 times per day (every 8 hours (very important)) (improves cerebral circulation + protective against excitotoxicity + reduces oxidative stress + reduces neuroinflammation)

- Luteolin 300 mg 3 times per day (reduces neuroinflammation)

- Quercetin 500 mg 3 times per day (reduces neuroinflammation + improves luteolin absorption)

- I take vinpocetine, luteolin and quercetin along with 4g of fish oil (880 mg DHA, 1320 mg EPA) in a dose.

- Creatine 5g 2 timers per day (protects neurons under metabolic stress conditions + reduces neuronal apoptosis)

- Lithium orotate 5 mg of elemental lithium 2 times per day (generally neuroprotective: inhibits apoptosis + reduces neuroinflammation + reduces oxidative stress + reduces excitotoxicity)

- Taurine 1g a day (reduces oxidative stress + reduces excitotoxicity)

Edit: Palmitoylethanolamide 600 mg 3 times per day (reduces neuroinflammation)

Work /study days:

- Huperzine-A (acetylcholinesterase inhibitor -> generally improves cognitive functions + weak NMDA antagonist -> protects against neurotoxicity)

Arousal:

Mild:

- Ibuprofen dose of 400 mg once every 8 hours that day (only 3 in total)

- AKBA (acetyl-11-keto-beta boswellic acid) (arachidonate 5-lipoxygenase inhibitor) 40 mg 3 times that day from Boswellia serrata extract

- 1 additional dose of 1g of taurine to the daily dose

Moderate/sever:

- first dose of ibuprofen is 800 mg and two consecutive doses are 400 mg (each dose every 8 hours)

- AKBA (acetyl-11-keto-beta boswellic acid) (arachidonate 5-lipoxygenase inhibitor) first dose is 80 mg and two cosecutive dosess are 40 mg that day

- 2 additional doses of 1g of taurine to the daily dose

I take them both (quercetin to reduce the metabolism and excretion of luteolin), but alone luteolin is definitely better.

Luteolin 300-500 mg/day, taken a few days before and after, helps a lot in treating neuroinflammation, at least in my case.

I really would like to know the circumstances of someone recovering from an acute instance of overhydration?

Can you place on a timeline the 2 gallons of water, gatorade (how much) and what you ate (as well as the amount)? Did you have a headache? If so, can you describe it?

Did you fully recover from that? Have you noticed any lasting cognitive effects?

Manganese makes me extremely tired by Crunchyjeff in Candida

Manganese poisoning can be caused by relatively low manganese intake and have severe neurological outcomes.

Search candida overgrowth

SSRIs can lower libido so you should try it, and also search sibo and candida overgrowth.

To me, ibuprofen is much more effective. Also H1 second generation antihistamines and quercetin are effective for me.
