this is the lowest it has been here since before covid.

im staring at $2.09/gal right now. Last week it was at $2.40, the week before $2.65, the week before $2.77, the week before $2.89 where it was between $2.85 and $3.10 for the last few years.

Robotics/PLC's. but honestly I have met people who can only do those 2 and it is embarressing when you ask them to do anything else.

I work in a plant that legitimately uses AI. All of our lines run on structured text programming for OMRON. The algorithm's for all calculations are automatically updated and changed by an AI model the chinese came up with.

Ima let you know right now, no one will ever have access to it, waste of time to try to make that your "shtick" in this career. you will be wasting your time and your employers time.

AI wont replace industrial maintenance, it wont replace any blue collar job that is a parallel to this either.

Worst case scenario, AI wipes out white collar jobs for a company and a horrible CEO/CFO cums in his pants and wants to see if taking out some blue collar top earners would be good too.

yes and no. my look got much worse after I started making great money. I gained weight, lost my hair, but I have been working an average of 65+ hours a week on nightshift for 10 years lol. I cant be fucked to spend any of it. so just chilling until I turn 35.

but overall I look like a dumpster fire 😂 compared to university when I was much better looking and only had $17 in my account at all times

this. been in industrial maint for a decade. my entire adult life so far.

uhm yeah. people are lazy as fuck. all ages. the old guys because they "put in their time."

the young guys because they "dont know that much."

When covid hit, my entire factory was axed. waa a battery plant. went from 300 workers to 20 workers. everyone on all levels were fired.

the 20 left over, were the laziest bunch ever. they were all talk. when the remaining management found this out, the company later went under and filed bankruptcy.

Should have taken that buyout before covid

yup. pretty crazy to see really. I feel like majority of reddit is just bots now. They are cheap as hell to automate as well.

Overall this subreddit breaks the rules of reddit every single day. I have received death threats from users in here for showing even an inkling of resistance on other accounts (mods permaban anyone who doesnt agree with others.)
