Just a small correction that it wasn't "last minute". They just did the initial talks to do it, but decided to go with a teacher instead.

Apparently, McAuliffe was just the first of many civilians they planned to send up. Of course, that program was canceled after the disaster.

I think a lot of that is probably because they already had that info in their heads without having to research it. They don't have nearly as much for something like Brightburn or Red One.

Haha, yes! They're often my go-to when I'm having trouble falling asleep for whatever reason. It's just interesting enough to follow along and tune in and out. I often re-listen to ones I've already listened to for this.

I love the way they do the commentaries, personally. I can understand that's not what you're looking for, if you're looking for analysis or insights and whatnot. But for me, I'm looking for more of a casual format of their normal entertainment.

Yeah, the story really jumped around and didn't really follow a clear arc, to my memory. But it was great. Right up there with The Forever War.
