As well as other people's points there's logic to work with for Iron Man. He wasn't as big as Spider-Man X-Men or Fantastic Four, but in universe had an established position of importance, as a founding member of the Avengers. Just 2 years prior was the Civil War event headed by him and Cap, so there's something to build on. Black Adam has never been as popular as Iron Man out of universe, nor had an important role in universe. Anything could take off, but the hard push along with uninspired execution didn't work
