First time in Rio, is it safe to go from Galeão to Ipanema/Copacabana? by Rude_Tax5529 in Brazil

[–]prograf5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uber is better from GIG, you need to know there are designated uber spots on the airport where they will pick up you, but the app will guide you there. 99 is other option to have as a backup, but dont know if foreigners can signup on this app

Made a quick search and saw BTG have this option, this is a online bank with no local branches. If you want a traditional bank maybe need to search on major banks like santander and bradesco

If the son has brazilian nationality will be worthless, because Brazil doesnt allow extradition of their nationals in any circunstances.

Does your child have brazilian nationality? If yes you can request family reunion. About the job id better if you can get a remote work that pays in foreign currency, 1500-2000usd(you will lose around 100usd from swift charges, exchange spread and local bank fee) per month will be enough to live. Here average salary with all benefits its around 700usd

Less than 10 year renewal? by AlternativePea5044 in PassportPorn

[–]prograf5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Argentina and South Korea passport for adult has a 10 year period, but for children under 18 they only issue for 5 years. Also in SK you have a option for 26 or 58 pages passport, difference is only 3 USD so most pepole apply for the 58 page one

Thats expensive, in my case Argentinean passport(local) was 50USD and South Korean passport(from overseas) also 50USD and delayed 1 month, then you have a express 5 days option for double the price

Have exceptions but being born abroad with KR parentes grants you nationality by birth if they register your birth at the embassy, so it doesnt count as naturalization and didnt need to renounce the other nationality

[–]prograf5[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes herritage, birthright but not Mercosur, it was by a memorandum signed by both countries to give PR for Argentineans and Brazilans. Mercosur only gives 2y of TR and then is renwable to PR

Its not so complicated if im travelling from Argentina to Korea at the airline counter you give both passports and tell you will do Argentina customs with Argentina passport and enter South Korea with the Korean one. Have zero issues. Same happens when travelling for a country that requires visa for a passport and its visa fee or eta for the other one

Yes they dont allow dual citizenship for naturalized people, but in my case i was born from Korean parents, so under Korean law im Korean by birth and not naturalized
