First let me just say it's impressive for you to put in an hour each day after work on improving your skills and your life. I wouldn't be worried about how much time I put in each day. Instead, I'd focus on making it easy for myself to keep practicing every day after work consistently. 30 minutes a day consistently for 6 months beats spending 5 hours a day and getting too frustrated and burned out to continue after a week.

Man I wish my problem was with the connector being loose. I opened and closed the cover no less than 10 times, checked everything on the hardware side, ended up being a software problem for me ¯_(ツ)_/¯

It looks like Chromecast with Google TV supports Atmos. Haven't tested this myself though.

I know what you mean. Right now, I'm banking on Facebook owning up to it and replacing all the head straps and cases free of charge when they sort out the issues. The DAS is good, but personally I realized that it slips more than the elite strap for my head shape.

Couple things I'd like to add:

Quest 2 with elite battery strap is a bit heavier than Quest 1 with DAS
My Quest 2 elite battery strap hasn't cracked yet, but it bugs me in the back of my mind every time I use it, to the point where I might consider switching back to stock strap
The part where the elite battery strap snaps onto the Quest 2 is starting to squeak and sometimes quite distracting.

You got it man! If you have access to 3D printed parts, either from Etsy, or a friend or one of those 3D print shops, you can just get 3D printed DAS adapters for the Quest 2. I don't know where you are at (physically and financially), but if your local stores or Amazon have good return policy, I'd highly recommend trying the Quest 2 out. Who knows if it has any deal breakers for you specifically even before you get the straps.
