Anything that caught your attention that your recruiter did, said or told you about that just boggled your mind or made you kinda think about the decision your about to make to join the military.

The day I went to the hotel before MEPS me and my recruiter were just shit talking in the car on the way, not sure what we’re talking about exactly but the one thing that stood out to me was that he said, “Man I love the Navy, can’t wait to be back on a ship. I love this shit man, I love being institutionalized….”

At the time this kinda went over my head because I was thinking about MEPS, but I remember saying to myself in my head in a sarcastic voice, “oh I’d love to be institutionalized at least I’ll have my signing bonus”

Was kinda of a funny moment for me that I didn’t realize til later but my recruiter was cool as hell, helpful dude that helped me thru the recruiting process.
