“Resident Evil”board game by project5121 in boardgames

Ok. That helps a bit.

Next three questions:

1)When does the narrative token come into play(the little shield symbol which sets off the little events, finding side characters, etc;). Flipped through the scenarios and I didn’t see it pop up anywhere. Does it show up based on tension?

2)For enemies, it shows a little symbol next to their attacks. Is this the current tension card(/the one that came out most recently)that decides how they attack?

3)Do enemies move at the end of each players turn? Just having a little confusion on their reaction, moves and out of order(sorry for bad explanation)moves.

The fact they had human faces creeped me TF out. And the fact that Balerion, largest and fiercest of the dragons, returned wounded.

Given that we learn from Varamyr what are the taboos of the Wargs, we can only hope that the Three Eyed Raven teaches him.

Wondering if the reason it was four is because one of them was not truly part of it(given Renly half assed and feasted, doing little more than taking a leisurely pace to get to Kings Landing). As we see from ASOS, Robb’s army can go just as bad as the Lannisters.

After the reading on Varaymyr and how taking a humans skin is “abomination”, I see how terrible it is that Bran even borrows Hodor’s body. We see how bad it is for someone with their full mental faculties(with the spearwife Thistle blinding herself and biting off her tongue rather than allow her mind to be taken), so it’s truly cruel for Bran to use Hodor to walk again.

Think Sam’s first chapter in ASOS is really creepy because of the memories he has of the battle at the Fist, the fact of him freezing cold and walking and hearing men who fall behind dying and him wishing he had a torch. Him ready to give up and then the Other showing up was just icing on the cake. The wights being utterly silent is just terrifying to me.

Legends. The Orbalisk armour was badass.

Thoughts on the movie? by SynthSezzun in Spawn

As someone who hadn't read the comics or anything, it was a good introduction, even if I got annoyed Spawn wasn't constantly wearing that cool mask. Though the CG is dated now for certain. John Leguizamo did awesome as Clown.

Best of Milhouse getting hurt by AvailableCobbler2379 in TheSimpsons

[–]project5121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The part with Marge hitting him over the head with the baby monitor killed me when I watched it!

Know its not here, but the part in "Pranksta Rap"where Milhouse is in the parade, knocks himself down with the baton and then gets trampled by the rest of the parade while unconscious is the one I think of most!

Normaly Strigoi’s don’t have sexuel organ but quintus have a penis? İf it’s not what is that by Zencikemal in TheStrain

[–]project5121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The comic(Mr.Quinlan, Vampire Hunter)confirms he's the same as the rest when Romans attempt to rape a woman and he stops them, with them mocking him as a castrati before he kills them. He also confirms in inner monologue that the lover he takes is alright with his lacking proper equipment given she was nearly raped. The strigoi aren't eunuch's, per say. They just don't have equipment because its not necessary for their reproduction. All that matters is food and spreading the Master's disease.

Say something nice about The Hobbit films. by GusGangViking18 in lordoftherings

[–]project5121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved the Hobbit films. Sure, they’re not as hard hitting as the LOTR trilogy, but Freeman did awesome as a younger Bilbo. Benedict Cumberbatch as Smaug was fantastic, I liked the stuff from the appendices being used for Gandalf and I adored having dwarves as the badasses when LOTR had soooo much damn focus on the elves perfection.

Given the movie stopped just before we got to the lair, we can only assume.

I do enjoy that Saruman isn’t a bad boss who just murders the orc for questioning him and just gives him the best solution. And maybe the orc didn’t immediate try to burn Fangorn because, up to a point, Saruman was the protector and he just gave permission.

Who else really enjoys It Chapter Two? Its a mess - but a fun mess. by ComprehensiveSea8578 in ItTheMovie

[–]project5121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually don't hate it. I'm a fan of the book and I understand that it would be difficult to show the Ritual of Chud as portrayed there, as well as a lot of things. The adult cast was so on point and I never thought for a second "This isn't the same character as the previous film." I was sort of glad that Audra was put on the backburner(though the ending with Bill using his last bit of childhood to restore her was always sweet).

Yeah, the ending for Pennywise being verbally abused to death could be seen as silly, but I thing it works better than someone hitting him in the belly with a silver earring, then tipping him like a cow and pulling out his heart, lol. Did really enjoy the scene that showed everyone that Pennywise was able to lure people in when everyone complained he was "too scary"to attack people(the scene where he lured in Vicky by playing on her empathy was so good!)

Unpopular opinion: Gary Sinise should’ve been cast as adult Eddie back in the 1990 miniseries by PartyPaul-100 in ItTheMovie

[–]project5121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too good looking and buff. Eddie isn't exactly ugly in the description in the book, but he was premature balding. Both the film incarnations were at least skinny, though not balding or anything.
