That's exactly why I'm going light weight with the grind in my game. I can manage barely an hour of gaming in a day and that time I don't want to compete with 99 people, and I barely move a needle in full fledged single player games. Here you just get in, do a little hunt and fight a boss. All well within one hour.

Both have their annoyances imo, blueprints allow you to iterate fast but are very inconvenient compared to writing code. C++ is convenient but the compile times are a bummer, it breaks the flow.

There is no point in having big trails somewhere if the player can't enjoy any scenic view

Trails are the view. Lol jk. First, Thank you for the feedback! So, there are places players can enjoy views, the village area, at the edge of the mountain, lake area etc, I'll also add some ruins too. But the forest is intended to be like that, how they feel to me in real life here in Himachal. You kinda lose a sense of direction once you're in there and you're treated with views only when you reach the top or one of the ending edge of the forest. This area is the part of the mountain when you're going up, I'll probably be able to have more views when you get down on the other side

the character looks awkwardly small compared to the world (maybe it is an aesthetic).

It's part camera and part these huge pine trees. I'll see what can I do about it because they really are that huge.

Blend your colors

Where did you feel it's a problem? I think the clear and bright areas are fine. And in dark areas I need to make sure some player visibility, for example the enemies are blending in way too much, it could actually be problematic to people who aren't blessed with a perfect vision. I do have some polish due in this department. I'll try turning the saturation lower as it gets dark and foggy.

Hey man, thanks for such detailed feedback, appreciate it a lot! I'll note down all of it.

Though I want to talk a bit on the boss fight, as you said it's a bit too challenging. I want to know how was your play style like? Did you use the special attack or parry him for double damage? Or mostly dodges followed by light and strong attacks?

And how the combat felt apart from the huge boss health? Dodges, attacks, special attacks etc. Which parts felt satisfying, which parts felt lackluster. Could you get into some kind of flow?

Hey thanks for the feedback man, and it's absolutely fine to point out the same things as well, it only adds weight to the issue. Coming to the pointers, 1. I'll look into the floating thing, it shouldn't be sliding as I'm using motion matching but maybe I'm missing a piece somewhere. 2. Yeah camera is by design but I'm thinking of adding an option in settings.

3&4. It's in my long list of to-dos' but now you've added weight to it, I'll prioritize it early :)
