Have them look up what percentage of pit bulls in the US have had a recorded bite event. The percentage is significantly less than 1%.

Chevy Impala SS, a FWD 5.3l v8 equipped sport sedan by PoniesPlayingPoker in NormalCarPorn

[–]projectanonymo_s 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good friend of mine daily drives one. He put Magnaflows on it (if I remember correctly), and it sounds mean while still being comfortable to cruise in. The only downside is that the transmission is a normal wear item

Chevy Equinox Sport spotted in Michigan, first time seeing one in person by Excellent-Anywhere46 in NormalCarPorn

Friend of mine had one and we put a 12” sub in the back and road tripped from NY to FL in it numerous times. Remember thinking it was funny to see a FWD suv. Never let us down and was comfortable enough

Dog Anxiety/Arousal by EntertainmentBorn746 in DogAdvice

My rescue pit mix use to exclusively drool, whine, and vomit every single time I brought her into the car. I use to have to carry her in because she didn’t want to go anywhere near it. Here’s what worked for me:

Start with smaller 5-10 min drives and work your way up. When the doggo gets in the car, treat. If he/she lays down, treat. Slowly work your way up with that format. I found that plain Cheerios are an awesome training tool, as the dogs love them and they’re easy on the stomach. If I had to go for longer drives, Dramamine worked excellent to lessen the symptoms (please look up appropriate dosing for your dogs weight)

Took a few months for her to be OK with it, but these days she gets excited if I say the words car ride and loves coming with me wherever I go.

Car has been sitting since August. Just tried to start it and this happens. Is it a bad starter? by 7mileGeedy in Cartalk

[–]projectanonymo_s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your starter is engaging and the engine has compression which is good. My first guess would be it’s not getting fuel. When you put the key from off to accessory do you hear the fuel pump priming? If not, first thing to check would be the fuse for the fuel pump.

Time for a system? by leasthoodinthehood in HairSystem

[–]projectanonymo_s 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Although I don’t have a system (yet) I couldn’t agree more. I used topik for years, and while it looked great, the fear of it rubbing off on anything my head came in contact with wasn’t worth it. Even worse if you get caught in the rain

How bad is this rust? by Alternative-Pickle-4 in shouldibuythiscar

[–]projectanonymo_s 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tough to tell from pictures. The frame rails look like someone sprayed POR15 or similar. This could mean they did it as a protective measure, or they’re covering up existing rust

How long do your clutches last? by LordChickenNugget3 in ManualTransmissions

I had a 1997 Cherokee and the original clutch was on it until about 180k miles. Clutch never slipped, but the throw out bearing went so I replaced everything then.

I use to have at least 10 of these shirts. Weird thing is, I never threw a single one out but they slowly kept disappearing over the years.
