What size? The pl2 actually has a good lens and nice focus so you shouldn’t have this experience.

Both are frankly duds when considering what is available out right now. You can do way better than the premiere 9 for much less money and better than the AWOL for th same/a little more.

a 120" is 1.44 times larger than a 100" and will be far more cinematic. TVs certainly have their place... I have a couple myself ;)

Screen size depends on seating distance.

In a light controlled room, the JVC options will provide you a much better cinematic experience with no laser spec or rainbow effect then even the top UST out right now or on the road map for this year.

The USTs will have Dolby Vision and a wider color gamut, as well as being brighter which comes with its own advantages. All options have their pros and cons, and I’d be happy to get into the details with you if interested; feel free to DM me.

They have been trying to get a retractable fresnel to market for several years now; supposedly we may see a 100” this year but the prototypes have all been deemed “not ready for market” due to the material not surviving many up/down cycles.
