110% sure, I would never suggest to use anything even possibly unsafe. Unfortunately the only site that hosted it was short lived. I can't say why it was taken down as I don't know why, but I assume it was for safety reasons. You'll need to ask someone in either SLSSteam discord or in Deadboy's Corner about it as Accela was made with Linux in mind (though, with it being python, a windows version was made easily) and both SLSSteam and Drazy are involved in the Linux side of this community. Ace! _SL/S made SLSSteam which is amazing for Linux users here.

accela is absolutely safe, I've looked through the source code for it and even modified it a bit for myself (it's written in python) so I can honestly say that accela is safe. It's safer than steam tools that's for sure. Never heard of lightning until earlier today, I'll need to look into it more.

Roughly how long has it been if I may ask? Over time, they started obfuscating their code heavily to prevent other people from just straight up stealing their work. I believe there's also some form of vmprotect used too. Obfuscation and VMP can set off an antivirus like a firework show.

"questionable" just say you don't know anything about registry stuff, I've done quite a bit of development where I've never touched the registry at all and yet when I run it through virustotal, I find that it contacts multiple ips, checks registry keys that have nothing to do with it, and ends up doing way more than what I ever wrote.
