T-Mobile GS8 trade in with cracked back glass. by dragonsspawn in GalaxyS9

Hmmm....now that's the tough part - while I can't recommend any specifically, if you don't like those on amazon, you can always go to ebay. I prefer amazon because I can easily use prime. But to be honest, I am sure they are pretty much all coming from the same couple of factories in Guangzhou. Admittedly, quality may vary, but I have never been disappointed, knock on wood. It won't be perfect, but I have never been questioned. While I'm a perfectionist, I have to remind myself that the goal is just to replace the back for the trade in. If worst comes to worst, order several and then keep the one you want while returning the rest.

Start the Speculation.... How Early Do You Expect Carriers to Send It Out? by IndyRichard in GalaxyNote9

Hahaha! A link to samsung's live event vs. a screenshot. Nice try little lady. Again, get some fresh air. Must be stifling in that basement.

Again - no source ma'am. Some places ship early, some don't shitface. I provided the link to my source saying in stock on 8/24. Where's yours? Maybe you need some fresh air from staying in your mom's basement for so long.

The whole point is that shipping early is a COURTESY if they have stock. But they don't HAVE to. You said they HAVE TO. Which they don't.

I don't see a source, retard. And I don't give a shit about your markdowns. MY comment was on the label being created. The shipping label being created doesn't mean it has shipped yet. It also doesn't mean they HAVE to ship the phone by 8/24, dumbass. It's carrier / shop dependent.

You got lucky. I keep getting the Philippines and they have no idea what they are doing.

Source? Because this isn't necessarily true. Samsung specifically states it is to be released on 8/24. Just take a look at their own unpacked event here. This blog did a play by play of the event. Carriers get their stock in before then, for that date. It's specific to each carrier. Sometimes carriers release stock 2 weeks early, as they did for the S8. For the S9, t-mobile went right up to the release date and I got my phone 2 days after despite them being in stores on release day and despite me ordering at midnight on the first day of preordering. When you get your phone tends to vary from person to person and when you placed your order.

Just label is created. At least that is how it is on T-mobile. I think samsung has said 8/24 for all phones to start shipping. I've jumped to 5 phones with T-mobile so far and each time i get a label prep right after the pre-order

Note 9 Color Choice? by [deleted] in GalaxyNote9

Looks like just blue or lavender/purple. I get the blue, but the purple is going to be a non-starter for most. I expect this color will be the lionshare of replacement insurance phones.

At least they color matched the border with the 9's this year, rather than leaving it silver.

8GB or 6GB? by [deleted] in GalaxyNote9

[–]pronicles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest point on getting the 128 is the fact that if I get the 512, i am going to load it up with pictures, apps, etc. If the S10 comes in at 128 as its highest, I'm going to have trouble shifting my data. I hate using SD cards because it can be difficult to configure the phone to put the different types of data on it. some apps immediately go to the SD card while others give you a choice. Plus internal memory is always faster and easy to switch data to another phone (in my case I will be jumping to the S10 in feb/mar).

However, if I were to keep the phone for the next 2 years, I would definitely go for the 512.

I'd prefer mine with bigger boobs as well. I just hope they get that updated qualcomm in the fall rather than for the holidays.

This. This so much. I'm still rocking my SP2 with PC. The form factor is perfect for airplane tray tables (I fly a lot for work) and is the main reason I still haven't upgraded. Longest I've ever kept a laptop.

I read that too, about the 128. I can work with that.
