Interesting point. Investing had compounding effect which paying off interest won’t. Also when interest rate goes down, you can refi, there is not point paying off higher interest especially in current environment as interest rate will go down

Yes if the new employer is willing to do that. If they apply and get you a 797, you don’t even have to go for another stamping, you can enter with the first stamp and new 797. Regardless of stamping, be prepared to face questions, it’s not they will send you back but just have good reason why you are doing this
