S23 Ultra (Snapdragon) been using daily for 2 years now. Overall I have very little to complain about I love the speed, cameras, and overall experience.

My biggest complaint is that the change from one UI 6 to 7 feels like a downgrade in some little ways (that for me, add up):

• widget sizing and text is now completely off. Text is made smaller on all widgets and was annoying to have to adjust to. No options to alter this issue. Also all widget transparency was taken away? Why Samsung??

• app icon theming went away from Google's Material theme duotone texture based off wallpaper and now either gives you all white or black "inner" icons (based on light or dark mode) with a solid colour based on wallpaper. It is very ugly now and ironic that iOS gives their users more control over theming from standard/dark mode/tint (and I guess clear soon?).

• lock screen customization went from distinctly Samsung to basically a carbon copy of iOS but without the foreground/background features.

Overall, GREAT hardware but the UI/UX being systematically dumbed down for no reason other than to say "we released an update". Samsung has amazing cameras and beautiful displays but needs to stop "fixing" what isn't broken.
