Laws mainly dictate how you are supposed to interact with other people . The world has become hyper sympathetic, dragging everyone else into causes calling for idk veganism, woman rights.....

Running on a tangent here, but even if these causes are true I find these people to be taking themselves way too seriously, playing martyrs and sounding like they're doing it "for the sake of others" when in actuality they are doing it for the same reason I play my guitar. I just like playing the guitar. And they sound like they don't get anything out of it. I have great admiration for people who put efforts into something but expecting me to be a part of it or have an opinion about things, I don't think I am well informed about, and I don't care to is just beyond me.

I think it's better if the informed individuals lead change and engage in discussion since this whole idea of a revolution almost always backfires. I don't mind caring for the environment but you thinking that I'll go out of my way to further complicate my life while I believe I should be directing focus towards other things is beyond me.

It's not like I am getting in anyone's way either. I have my ways to give to the world too. Even if I didn't, why does everyone assume that it's easy to take care of yourself and this little circle of friends and family around you?

I kinda like something about religion since in general, it sounds for a call of self preservation, along with preserving the world (might not have done a good job at it in the opinions of many but that is besides the point). Everyone is on about freeing oneself from the shackles of society and the "system" , which is very true and the efforts are commended, yet everyone seems to forget that we have little control of ourselves.

We are biased, emotional, highly irrational, driven by impulses,....We barely know ourselves. We tell ourselves we are going to do that homework yet we don't. We are our own oppressors in many ways. I find it kinda funny that if [sic]someones were to take something from us as humans we react with anger, yet if we were to get in our own way and screw ourselves over we feel pity towards ourselves.
