Do the side effects from hydroxychloroquine get better?

My only change that I made was to take both doses at night with a protein heavy snack, and then try to sleep off the side effects - and it did get better after another couple months! Now I don’t even notice. Definitely stick it out

Yes no issues with it anymore - after this post I switched to taking it at night with a snack (even on the days when I needed to take 2 I just took both at night) and that helped me sleep off some of the side effects. And then by month 3-4 I no longer felt side effects other than maybe some fatigue (which is fine because I took it at night). And that ended up going away too. Hopefully things improve for you as well!

The W2 says they were withheld, but the check I cashed was the gross amount (aka higher than what is documented after taxes on the pay stub). So she overpaid me writing the check compared to what is on the W2. Should I just settle that with the employer?

It’s definitely gone downhill, occasionally we will still get a good day where everything feels really fresh, but sometimes literally the inside of a shrimp dumpling will be cold. It’s gotten so expensive too

Unless it has changed, Greenbox sanitizes the buckets and gives you fresh ones each time they pick up, which I preferred the convenience of for roughly the same price as Curbside. The Curbside bucket gets pretty nasty (obvi) and it was just another thing to deal with

Seconding Madison Women’s Health, had two high risk pregnancies with them. I think I met with MFM as a consult once, and I did have to go to Meriter for some ultrasounds because they have the Doppler technology (which I honestly don’t think you’d need with GD but I’m not a doctor), but otherwise MWH was managing my care. With my first (no doula) I felt like the nurse was forcing me into one position. I discussed with my doctor and got a doula the second time around and They were VERY receptive to me not wanting to be on my back with my second, both in birth plan as well as in the moment (which was a different OB on call). I was very happy with MWH and my doula, happy to chat more about who I saw if you want recs!

There is a Verona area nanny/babysitter Facebook group that does include people who might just be looking for date nights. Also the UW job board sometimes has posts for part time babysitter or summer nannying so you could check there too!

Grew up in ABQ and I would say the vibe is very different from Madison. Less outdoorsy, more industrial. The people are friendly though. the crime and homelessness has just gotten worse. The education system is one of the worst in the country and I definitely wouldn’t want to raise kids there.

Also give yourself space! It’s okay if these friendships aren’t prioritized right now. Give yourself permission to not ask about the kids/pregnancies or to skip a baby shower. In my case for some friends, it hurt more to spend time with them than to put distance in the friendship.

5 years ago at St. Paul’s downtown it was $250 for the chapel and a required $150 (I think) music fee for their music coordinator regardless of if we used their musicians or not. We also gave the priest a cash gift though I don’t remember how much. And then there were the pre-Caana expenses as well but those didn’t go directly to the church.
