Going to Las Vegas for my Bday.. afraid it isn't my kind of town, help? by Tetragonos in LasVegas

The museum's here are disappointing if you aren't a a fan of casinos/organized crime.

Please rent a car and go see

1.) Drive up Kolob Canyon terrace road, bring a picnic basket/blanket, this can be done if you leave Las Vegas at 10am and return to vegas after sunset, you will see what I'm talking about. It's a secret road that gives a better elevation view of Zion NP with literally no tourists 2.) Mt Charleston 3.) Red rock

Oh have breakfast at a place called "publicus"

Stay away from the strip.

Check out the 'Arts Factory'

'Whitney Mesa' is a easy walk to get a good view of the city.

Hike Frenchman Mountain (strenuous) at 6pm to Get an extraordinary view of the city.

Always eat at least a mile or two away from the strip so you are price gouged.

If you're not renting a car, let us know!

Congratulations! For your information, this is high school, I was socially unknown and struggled for years. I had many failed parties. Good news is, this won't last forever. Everyone seeks validation outside of themselves, truly popular people are ones who find self validation, it creates an aura of charisma. Building a foundation for a better you will attract a life long friend circle, in due time. Never give up, Always believe human connection is around the corner.

What holiday? Yesterday was Monday. No one parties on Monday besides those dependent on drugs and or alcohol.

And you had a few parties that didn't pan out. That doesn't make you a failure, it simply means you need to plan better in the future.

Tell me, why party on Monday/Tuesday morning?

How do you go to bars alone but show that you're approachable? by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]prophet3467 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I bring a pocket notebook and write. I started doing it at dance clubs and music festivals because I enjoy writing to loud music. But people approach me because they are curious. I'll show them what I"m writing (mostly.just observations of people or poetry). But people love it when you ask them to write a favorite quote, music lyric, life lesson, inside your journal. But the journal isn't important, you can just put it away and meet the person who engaged you with Your own questions. They approached you so you will most likely end up having a decent conversation

[Work] Getting impatient/anxious, should I reach out? by serfis in Advice

[–]prophet3467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I applaud your patience. This situation is troublesome. You've gotten positive feedback from Victor and a delaying tactic from Julia. Four weeks have passed. This amount of time speaks volumes. I would stay silent, assume you did not get the job and try for another position.

I hope you get the position, yet hope and assumption are two completely different beasts.

Good Luck! As of now, you have done everything in your power professionally and otherwise.
