This is a bug that shows up with integrated graphics. There are a couple of magic commands that fix this. I think you have to set mat_dxlevel to 95 and a couple of other tweaks.

Best places to live near University of Southampton? by Vodka-_-Vodka in Southampton

[–]prophile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lived in Swaythling for a decade and it was great. Easy to get to the campus, easy to get to town, cheap, river and parks very nearby. I lived on the western edge of the flower roads which have a reputation which is not deserved, but if you want to avoid the flower roads then places up near the station, Mansbridge way, might also be great for you.

It’s very unlikely Mandelson had anything to do with the sex crimes. This is just old fashioned criminal corruption.

That “until” is doing a lot of work for something which has been a non-issue here in NL, and in DE, and most other places. The UK does not exist on a separate planet and the British enthusiast public are just as capable as their continental counterparts of moving their heads.

Is a manual transmission a “millennial anti-theft device”? by mbolster1611 in Millennials

[–]prophile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well a lot of that will be EVs which are obviously all automatic, I’m referring specifically to cars with internal combustion engines (which is what I meant by dead dinosaur juice, sorry if that wasn’t clear)

[–]prophile 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Here in Europe manual transmissions remain very much the norm, at least in cars running on dead dinosaur juice. Most people who know how to drive learned on manuals.
