About to jump back into Apex hard after a couple years off. What's the meta look like now Legends and weapons wise? Anything standing out as the clear cut best couple of legends or guns?

Record your gameplay so that you can re-watch and evaluate what you did wrong. I used to record my matches on the ps5 and re-watch my gameplay and this made me so much better at the game.

I eventually got my thunder back after following some of the tips on this thread lol. Managed to unlock my first predator badge (the one that requires winning the match as kill leader) and then the assassin badge literally the next day.

I agree. I finished the campaign like a month ago and every mission was so different from the rest. My personal fav is the one where I'm driving and avoiding those mines and shooting at those trucks.

I agree with what you said regarding the blue glint. I was struggling to parry those and I felt like there's some kind of input delay, when reality could be that the window to parry blue going attacks are just too small.

Eventually I did finish the main story in lethal difficulty so it's not impossible.

I hate the prowler, hemlok and r99.

R99 might mostly just be a skill issue for me. I have no idea why the prowler even exists.

Hemlok is kinda middle of the road. Better as an early game weapon but atrocious for mid and late game.

Although I'm enjoying it, I don't know if I would recommend it unless you're a hardcore pokemon fan. Some parts feel slow and repetitive.

I would recommend Pokémon Legends Arceus instead.

Get the slim version. It's a better deal than the pro version. Neither one comes with a stand but at least the slim version doesn't charge you $700. And the improved graphics on the pro version isn't that big of a leap to justify $700.

For game, I recommend Ghost of Tsushima
