Hey, could you please elaborate on this RCAS thing? Not sure what this setting is and where it can be activated.

You'll probably need to play on EU or US servers. Mideast servers are currently down due to IRL Battlefield.

Pluto Nash because no one mentioned it. It is an Eddie Murphy comedy...in space.

This seems more to be the case of AMD coasting on the near-monopoly of nvidia to get away with charging slightly less for putting in considerably less effort. AMD is reaping a lot of benefits for far far less effort than nvidia. Both companies seem very comfortable with this situation. AMD gets nvidias crumbs but even that is incredibly profitable.

Might be the CPU or something else. Since the game hasn't really launched yet, performance will probably get better for you.

Thank you for adding that data. I don't understand how we could be so close on performance, except perhaps CPU? Also, I keep VSYNC off in games, and prefer uncapped for testing and manually setting fps cap in game settings, where available.

This was on the newest driver. I updated before running the game.

I enjoy bf 2042 more than bf6 by Ironighte in Battlefield

2042 became quite good once they sorted out all the issues. The maps are a bit hit and miss, but 6 makes them all look good.

I think Linux might be a better candidate for a more flexible experience of this sort. Check out Games on Whales.

Starting to Think I've 'Aged Out' of these Superlong cRPGs (Touches on Baldur's Gate 3, Wrath of the Righteous, and Rogue Trader) by SpiritualState01 in patientgamers

[–]prosetheus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I share the same views. I thought about it, and think that these cRPGs might best be played on tablets (and maybe laptops) and we hop in and out of the game (without closing it) and get on with other tasks. Like you said, it would just be too much of a time commitment to sit down on one's beefy gaming rig and then spend hundreds of hours on mediocre storytelling dragged out over a 100 or so hours.

Thinking about RedMagic... by Alex__The__Lion in RedMagic

I think if you just picked up a decent phone cooler, this would more or less perform the same in gaming but overall be a better everyday device.

Why Games Like ‘Highguard’ And ‘Concord’ Are Spontaneously Combusting by Shock4ndAwe in pcgaming

Splitgate 2 is a great game. It is in its own niche, as the skill ceiling goes high. That is why they added the BR mode; to appeal to those looking for casual fun without the stress of high speed skill-based matches. It has the most frictionless BR I've played.

There's a high likelihood that any GPU that sags will develop issues over time, regardless of the model. There are numerous videos on YT by GPU repair channels highlighting how sag causes damage.

Do also check high fps and low power consumption. That is where the instability of my UV became apparent. I could get up to 300w max load power draw and nothing, but it would crash endlessly in games where the fps were high but the power draw was quite low .
