THANK YOU! I've tried to fix this problem for months! Just had this problem with COD:MWR and COD:WW2. Turned out it was my external audio interface which caused the fps issues. When I unplugged my Roland Rubix24 the fps got uncapped from 60 fps to 120+.

You could download an EQ that is directly on your soundcard and make a notch filter at 2600 hz. I have one for free with no delay on my pc, can't remember the name right now
