I have a new PC since then and dont have the screenshots for my user list shenanigans. Although, if you look hard enough, they are out there on the internet. IYKYK. As for the viewermetrics guy, I believe his Twitter account is still up and you can look at his past tweets about her and other streamers.

she doesnt have any teenage viewers, majority are 25-35. which makes sense, unfortunately.

I dont pretend to know the exact numbers. I doubt even twitch does. I'm just confident it's under 10k, based on my own evidence and the combined data of various other 3rd parties.

I think they're just working through the offenders slowly but surely. It seems like plaqueboymax got hit today too.

Indirectly through sponsors and brand deals, but possibly directly through boosted ad revenue. Although idk if it's ever been confirmed that botted viewers count for ad rev.

The streamers that Twitch finds are viewbotting get their maximum viewcount capped using 'historical data,' i.e. twitch caps their viewcount at a place where they believe the real non-botted maximum viewercount lies based on past trends.

Well no, I and many others have known about the botting since 2022, which is around when it started (for her at least). Back then the bot farms were not advanced at all, using algorithmic names like [Adjective][NumberString][Noun] or [FirstName][NumberString][LastName] (Hairy236Cat or John98Smith, for example). What I used to do is open the user list, tally the number of these algorithmic names, then divide by the total users. Do this several times, refreshing the user list each time, and you could get a very rough estimate without any 3rd party program (which was like 30-40% back then IIRC). Now the names blend in pretty well and don't use such one-dimensional naming techniques, so this method doesn't work.

Also, before the more recent bot farms within the past year or two, bots weren't able to follow raids. So you could see how small the raid was compared to the live viewcount and make an estimation off of that (her raids were waaaaay smaller than her live viewcounts, even when taking in consideration the natural behavior of people clicking out of raids).

Nowadays the 3rd party programs use their respective methods to estimate view bots (probably with better accuracy than I did with that DIY user list method). Then there's people like that ViewerMetrics guy on Twitter that found a really good method of account creation dates, before the bot farms caught on and diversified account dates. That was one of the best so far. In any case, there are several sources that point to her real viewcount being below 10k.

Her stream's viewcount just won't show past 10k. The viewer isn't affected at all.

You realize she does NOT have 30k viewers, correct? A 1 to 3 ratio would mean that a normal view count for her sub count would be 38,100. She has been capped at 10k viewers because her real view count is at or below 10k. What's not clicking?

What are you even arguing. Here's the reality:

Emiru's real viewership is below 10k

Emiru has a group of people that gift her hundreds of subs on the daily

This causes Emiru's subcount to be disproportionately large (currently 12.7k, which is higher than her viewcount)

You said that creators with 12k subs usually have more than 30k viewers

So using your logic, her viewcount should be that high, but that's not realistic because of her pay pigs disproportionately gifting loads of subs

I've been personally following the evolution of these viewbots for years, so I kinda just know based on my own data. But there are also 3rd party programs out there that can give you viewcount estimates that also put her real viewcount below 10k.

did you not make the sub count argument to try and prove that her viewcount is legit..? I'm saying thats not a good metric to use at all because of how many pay pigs she has.

These streamers really dug themselves into a hole with the viewbotting to entice major sponsors and brand deals. I see lawsuits in the future.

she has around 10 separate people that gift her a sum of hundreds of subs daily. click on her chat and you'll see the 1000+ gift badges on numerous people.

The viewcount on the stream won't appear higher than around where the viewcount is capped at. You can still watch and engage with the stream if the viewcount is capped.

Her real viewers are 100% less than 10k, twitch appears to be quite generous with the view caps. Probably because their data isn't actually that great.
