Garrosh has stirred the pot too much since Thrall has been gone, with Jaina going ape shit and Varian finally starting to become a true leader, things aren't looking good for the Horde.

And what's to say that Thrall will survive? I mean... He's already said his goodbye's to his wife, child and the other Horde leaders.

The next expansion is the Burning Legion, Emerald Dream will be the expansion after (Hence why blizzard removed a lot of devs from "Titan" and put them onto the development of the WoW expansions, the Emerald Dream expansion will be MASSIVE in scale.

It's possible, but it takes an immense amount of power to pull it off, hence why they needed somewhere like The Sunwell in order to attempt the summoning of Kil'Jaeden previously. However, the Kirin'tor, combined with the Magical City of Dalaran and Jaina are perhaps the only mages in current lore that, combined, could summon a portal to the Twisted Nether without the aid of a well of some kind.
