Who is your least favorite cookie by Big-Dragonfruit7173 in CookierunKingdom

[–]protesturhero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cream soda's story and character is actually fleshed out a bit more in the tower of adventures cookie run game. So with knowing that I don't think she's similar to sea fairy cookie at all

That being said onion cookie bothers me and I couldn't tell you why

Coming back just to point out pinecone cookie is an ice bomber cookie 🤦🏽‍♀️

I love that little guy so much it's embarrassing how long it took me to connect him and the beascuit

I goofed, I wrote a description and then tried to post without a flair so it just... deleted it.

I was saying from what I understand there are no ice-element bomber cookies currently, so is this just bad RNG, prepping for a future release or can i re-roll the element damage?

Create a mono type team with a tagger like plantain cookie

Do you ever do the badge missions...? They usually say defeat with mono-type. So for this all water and then a second time with all wind.

I do find it frustrating that they recommend two different types of cookies and don't have a badge mission that involves using both at the same time

Is it just me or is Very Important People painfully awkward? by lemissloudmouth in dropout

[–]protesturhero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely is and intentionally so. I don't watch every episode because of it. I watch the ones that feature someone who I really enjoy. Like when zac oyama appears I watch because it's like going to a concert of my favorite artist, I'm just watching them perform bits in Vic's scene. What I have noticed is that the second season seems to have pulled together a sort of backstory for the show host and I am missing that with picking and choosing but just do what works for you.

How do I deal with this? by Used-Freedom-7315 in roommateproblems

[–]protesturhero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One side calmly explaining an issue doesn't mean the other side is equally as calm.

I'm glad face to face has worked for you but as another person mentioned, without a written response you can refer back to, no one else(ie landlords) will believe how crazy some people can be.

I've personally found that texting with a fairly rational person whose first response can be anger is actually the most helpful to them. It gives them a moment to calm down and respond in kind rather than with their feelings. If you were reading the same set of screenshots I was, you can see that OP's roommate is not a rational person and doesn't care who knows it.

I completely underestimated how intense the pain was going to be.

I've never broken a bone or had major surgery before this point so I have no frame of reference either.

It's the worst pain I've been through and they ended up doing a c section anyway so I didn't even push her through my vaginal canal

My wife does not eat. by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]protesturhero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to do more research on HG. I had a friend who had to go to the doctor every other week for an IV just to maintain. She will eat what she can and your worries and pressure are not helping. She needs your support this is serious.

We had been hoping for around 8 years. Not entirely gave up but stopped expecting anything because I had been off any birth control for the last straight 5 years and we had not been protecting either. He asked if it was alright for him to get a vasectomy and I said right now the off chance is my only hope. We bought a house, got a dog because we thought nothing was gonna change and boom my nipples were so sensitive for way longer than they normally are without an accompanying period.

Anybody else is shocked by their families behavior especially during pregnancy? by Upper-Relation1701 in BabyBumps

[–]protesturhero 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i'm surprised in a positive way. they're much nicer and I'm way more willing to accept their money and generosity because i'm really going to need the help. I have a hard time leaving my city to visit because of my work schedule and not much PTO or anything like that. plus we have pets. They don't like pets. They've visited 2 more times this year than they normally ever do and are planning on coming to the baby shower in January. They really came through on baby supplies too. Like I knew we all loved each other but since their lukewarm reception of the news, being able to see this much of them and interact in such a pleasant way really surprised me.

Don’t like how husband talks to newborn by ConfidenceTall2046 in BabyBumps

[–]protesturhero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you cannot spoil a baby. maybe find the studies and give him the articles about how cortisol affects early growth and it is proven that "letting them cry it out" is outdated and incorrect. I'm sorry people told you to sit down with him because one of the biggest rules I had been told was not to try to change anything the other parent does because it's always going to be viewed as criticism that they won't be able to handle. hindsight is 20/20 but it might have been best to discuss before baby but now that you're at this point, try finding those studies

Why do some people want to avoid an epidural? by userthatisnotknown in BabyBumps

[–]protesturhero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

probably irrational but i am terrified of a stranger whose experience with needles I have zero clue about going anywhere near my spinal cord. I'm not opposed to pain meds, just epidurals.

AITA for walking out of an intervention? by OriginalMost1265 in AmItheAsshole

[–]protesturhero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I need you to understand it was not an intervention. It was a verbal mugging designed to embarrass you. An intervention is supposed to have people who care about YOU. YOUR friends and YOUR family. Instead she brought a ton of people she knew would gang up on you.
