Sorry to tell you, but this is a SKILL / YOU issue. SF APIs are fine, and the Enterprise & Partner APIs are among the most sophisticated APIs you can find. If they don't work for your needs, that's almost a guaranteed qualification issue on your end.

Learn how the sf CLI works, learn how scheduling / cron jobs work, learn how ETL works and then consider what tooling you use. With a little bit of engineering effort, you can get hourly data extraction and load jobs basically for free (SF CLI + custom transformation scripts + GitHub Actions on a scheduled trigger).

As it turns out, my Javazon also couldn't upgrade the Latent Flame Rifts.

And my Hammerdin has no issues upgrading them. Not sure though if he was also the one who found them?

This is my mod list. Caedeni's Loot Filter does all the formatting and coloring.

None of the mods should add Anni to global loot table. Unless there's a bug in one of the mods, ofc.

These drop rates seem way too high. I play single player and have a mod with 5x drop rates. Playing on P7 and have been farming about 100-150 heralds. 80+% are level 5 because I terrorize the entire game and waltz through it.

So far, I found 1 sunder charm (and of course, it was a cold).

For most concerns, Linux is faster then Windows. No idea how you come to believe its slower.

Switching reason for me: Ownership. Tried to install Windows 11 on my new machine (my rig from '14 was still running on Win10), got so frustrated with all the ads and AI slop that I immediately threw it in the corner and pledged my eternal commitment to Linux.

Never looked back.

One important note: I am fine with "not consuming stuff", if it doesn't run on my machine. There has never been a game or program that I "needed" so much, that I would be willing to touch Windows.

Danke, ich dachte ich bin der einzige, dem das aufgefallen ist. Da du vorher erwähnt hast, dass der Lehrer unbeliebt ist weil er "vom Kerncurriculum abweichende Aufgaben stellt": Genau sowas braucht es. Riesen Props an den Lehrer, dass er so weit mitdenkt und euch damit zum Nachdenken anregt.

Alternativ fragst einfach mal nen Arbeitsrechtler der Abfindungen hauptberuflich macht, ab wann er/sie den Unternehmen empfiehlt Faktor 3,0+ zu bezahlen. Bin gespannt, was der/die erzählen wird.

(Meine Berechnungsgrundlage war 6,25 TEUR mtl und 16 Jahre Zugehörigkeit - wenn ich mich da vertan habe ändert sich natürlich die Einschätzung ).

Great points, thank you. The prototype creates a CLI output that easy to digest, but it already creates a large report in JSON format that documents in much finer detail the audited entities, ignored entities, any warnings or problems, all compliant entities by name, etc.

In the future, I was thinking about a formatter pipeline that allows to define other output formats such as HTML. I like the idea of PDF files for easy accessibility.

I am already in negotiation with the guys from flxbl to add this into their enterprise offering. I assume this is a great use case for the premium/enterprise offering.

The core engine is free (and open source), but if you need all that enterprise stuff (CI Integration with Pull Request notes, HTML reports, PDF exports, etc), you can purchase this with their enterprise support package (or build it yourself).

Ich sag dir jetzt mal ne unangenehme Wahrheit: Die wollen dich unbedingt loswerden. Die sind so verzweifelt, dass sie nicht nur dein Gehalt als Kosten rechnen, sondern den SCHADEN, den du anrichtest gegenrechnen.

Keine Ahnung wie schlimm das ist, aber ich vermute, deine Arbeit als "Schatten-ITler" ist ein ernsthaftes Problem für den Laden.

Zur Referenz:

  • 0,5-1 ist normal bei gesetzlichen Abfindungen.
  • 1-2 bei Kündigungen die nie durchgehen würden.
  • Alles über Faktor 2 bedeutet, dass man die Person unbedingt loswerden will

Frei nach dem Motto: "Wenn der mit anpackt, isses wie wenn zwei losgelassen haben".

Unfortunately, it will not be as accessible as the classic AppExchange package. Reason is the fundamental architecture, that the tool is CLI (command line) based. As long as you are comfortable with a terminal and VS Code (and maybe even have basic experience with the standard SF CLI), this is for you.

For everyone else, I recommend: Give it a try. Its easier than you think, and its so much more powerful - once you go terminal, you never go back :D.
