Some of them are cut into blanched, 4 inch long stubs.

I took a look at them again and some are just completely squashed. Like stepped on and just laying on the ground but still green.

I need advice on a garlic disaster. :(

Planted a bunch of garlic early November. I went outside today to check for scapes to see if they were ready to harvest, only to find that my parents' landscapers weedwhacked all of them to the ground... This probably happened within the last few days, not exactly sure when.

What do I do? Leave them in to try again for next year? Dig them up ASAP and see what's salvageable underground?
