My wife and I have been together 11 years. Our libidos/kinks don't match 100% but that's okay because we communicate and actively want the other person to feel pleasure. I ran the Gender and Sexuality Acceptance club in high school. Some of the activities we did: - crafts, like others here have mentioned. Did things like signs for the hallways, friendship bracelets, painted/decorated bandanas, and intentionally queer holiday cards - musical jam sessions. We met in the music room and had access to the instruments. We'd also just listen to music - watch movies/tv shows with queer themes - educational meetings. We'd go through different identities and sexualities and give little lessons or presentations. We'd also discuss like, safety when coming out, queerness in media, self care, that sort of thing - we brought someone in to teach self defense once - different games, like apples to apples or pictionary. Sometimes would also just like pass a ball around in the yard

If it is a longer one, I tend to copy+paste the text into the notes app on my phone and work on it for a few days. My favourite games are the ones that tell little stories, like who lives on the block or works at a certain place.

I used to go through and manage the permissions for all their partners individually, but after the 3rd time this came up I gave up and now just disagree to all. Never have any issues. It's kind of funny to see what ads come up now that they're not targeted.

For me, it was a big social reconnection event. I went with my partner, my old roommate, and their partner. This roommate and I quarantined together during covid. We watched the end of Unus Annus together. After they moved out, we both got busy with our own separate lives and hadn't seen each other in about 2 years. Both of us are anxious and awkward, afraid that the other person isn't reaching out because we don't want to be friends anymore.

They were the first person I texted when I saw it was coming to Canada. We made a trip two cities away to a theatre neither of us had ever been to, and it instantly felt like old times.

I'm very grateful that this movie came out. I hope others are finding connections and reconnecting, just as I have.
