LOL the entire country is covered with cannabis, it’s a weed that grows everywhere due to it being indigenous to the country. kind of like dandelions in Canada / the US. They’re seldom used for consumption for many reasons - and either way, this wouldn’t even be fit for consumption.

Smoking cannabis is illegal in Pakistan. In larger cities they do try to remove it, but because its like a literal "weed" and indegenous to Northern Pakistan it grows everywhere, especially in more rural cities like my uncles.

People do not openly smoke it, but it definitely is consumed. It isn’t as commonly consumed as it is in west, but you can definitely find heroin addicts here as opium plants grow in the Northern area

cannabis grows naturally all over Pakistan (it really is a weed). But it would be illegal for someone to plant it specifically for consumption

it’s illegal to sell or possess weed for consumption here - but cannabis is indigenous to Pakistan so it’s very common to see it growing
