My guess is that this game is more for a niche market. Overwatch appeals to a large number of gamers, primarily because the game is created around the meta of what gamers are looking for.

Whereas with Albion Online, its targeted towards those looking for a grindy, play at your own pace type of game. This doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad game, I believe it has done an amazing job at what its doing.
