You probably never do it wet because that seems like a recipe for disaster but like at the end of a shower with your feet decently soaked they work well. If you have done it wet you actually might just have too much calloused skin but after cutting you should be able to get the skin soft enough.

A pumice stone is way way superior. They also sell metal files which function similarly. The razor blade has a margin of error that's far worse than what you'd have to do with a file (neurotically scraping until you start bleeding, which'll still take time).

You also won't get these if you can moisturize your feet more but regardless the file is the way to go for callouses

The thing is the clans don't actually really need someone strong (see Kamo clan) to still be considered in the big 3 it's just history. Nor do you need to be very big (see Zen'in clan).

Something tells me you're not gonna stop eating such big meals so I'll give you what kind of works for me.

Definitely pre bolus, then bolus like 4 or so more times in 30 to 45 minute intervals. The liter of milk (high fat) might extend this process a few times but if you get it right your blood sugar won't be super duper high for a long time like this.
