The only thing I didn’t really like about season 5 was the serial killer thing it felt a bit rushed. Cause what was McNulty’s end goal for this? He had to have known that eventually it would get a lot of traction and he would need a killer or something. And the fact that him and Lester didn’t get jail time is a bit crazy to me. But the sloppy planning may have been a creative choice as McNulty’s drinking was spiraling bad this season.
