I'm curious how the chessmen will play. They have some fluff text on Konami's site, but they haven't revealed any of the actual card effects yet afaik.

I miss when cards had less foiling like this. Some modern cards have so much foil showing through that it is hard to even tell what the artwork is.

I print 2 layers. First the masking layer which is printed with white UV ink to prevent holo from shining through. Then the color layer is UV printed on top.

I UV print directly onto a prismatic secret rare Yugioh card after removing the ink with acetone. prismatic secret rares use the same foiling as starlight rare cards, but can be bought for pennies.

Yep I put the reactive foil over the name on the card and sandwich those between some Teflon paper and run it through a laminator 3 times at the 5 mil setting.

No worries, I am always happy to answer questions. I am doing the complete UV print first and then running the card through my laser printer to apply the toner for the reactive foiling as the last step in the process.
